I’m not sure what the birth plan is yet, but I’d like to have someone to support me and my husband in making decisiones as we are in the process. We’d expect some One with at least 15 to 20 years of experience, if they speak Spanish this would be nice, but me and my husband speak English.

Hello! We are pregnant with our first child and I am really interested in having a Doula. I am a patient at Oula seeing their team of midwives and plan to deliver at Mount Sinai West. I live in Astoria, Queens. I am hopeful to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would like to learn as many breathing, movement, push positions, etc as possible to help achieve this goal. I am currently on Anthem BCBS Medicaid as a graduate student and have a tighter budget, but understand the importance of the care and knowledge that doulas provide.

I plan to give birth at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. I am in the process of developing my birth plan. I generally prefer to not use medicine but open to exploring. I feel very strongly I do not want a Caesarian section. Looking for general assistance once we bring the child home, however, I would also be open to having someone be an advocate for me in the delivery room.
