Hello there !!! My name is Rita Buchanan and I am a birth Doula !! I have spent 17 years of my life working in Obstetrics and Gynecology. It was then when I realized my passion for birth work . Comforting , assisting and emotionally supporting woman and families has been very rewarding to me. As a former teen mom , now a mother of three and grandmother of two , I know how important it is to be a voice to those that feel unheard . To provide advocacy and hold space to those in need. To be apart of something much bigger than myself . This is my true calling . I love people and pray I get the chance to touch as many lives , through birth work and humanly possible. Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Full Birthing package

Up to 8 prenatal visits for 40minutes at a time , In person or virtual . I will join you once your in active labor until the baby is born . I will visit you for 6 post partum visits , also for 40 minutes . My global fee for this package is $800.

What to expect

I offer emotional and physical support, assistance and advocacy throughout the prenatal and post partum periods .I offer in person and or virtual visits . I'm always available via text , email & phone . I will support you through out your labor and delivery . I will also be there for you during the post partum period to assist with baby , light housekeeping , emotional support, lactation support and enabling you to rest . Whatever additional needs you might have . I am here for YOU!
