I am a Mom of 4 adult children and a Mema to 4 beautiful grandchildren. I have been a RN in Labor & Delivery, NBN, Postpartum, Antepartum and Lactation for over 40 years. I am also a certified labor and postpartum doula through CAPPA since 2021. I began my business, Mema D's Doula Services in March 2021, serving expectant and new parents throughout Central Wisconsin. I strive to educate and empower couples in anticipation of the birth experience they desire. Besides my doula certification, I am also a Lamaze certified Childbirth Educator, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and a Newborn Care Specialist. I am CPR and NRP certified.

Postpartum Doula Services: $25/ hour daytime- $30/ hour nighttime Are you looking for more help after baby? As a postpartum doula I will come to your home to help care for you and baby for up to six weeks after delivery. Two hour minimum is required.
The Step-Up Package - $800 The Step-Up doula package is the most popular package for most first-time clients. With two prenatal visits, and one postpartum visit, this doula package provides just the right amount of support that most parents have benefited from. This package includes: -2 Prenatal visits (done at a location of your convenience). -Continuous labor support during active labor (at your home or birthing center). -Convenient messaging throughout your pregnancy to answer questions. -24/7 messaging and/or phone support as needed starting at 2 weeks before your due date through birth. -1 Postpartum visit (in your home) with lactation support and infant weight check -Access to my lending library of books and DVD's -Convenient payment plan
The Basic Package - $700 This package is designed for those who have already experienced labor (with or without a doula present). Repeat clients, or mothers who have ‘done this before’ will appreciate the simplicity of this package, while still getting quality reassurance and support. This package includes: -1 Prenatal visit (done at a location of your convenience) with optional 30 minute sibling prep activity. -Continuous labor support during active labor (at your home or birthing center). -Convenient messaging throughout your pregnancy to answer questions. -Access to my lending library of books and DVD’s -24/7 messaging and/or phone support as needed starting at 2 weeks before your due date through birth. -1 Postpartum visit (in your home) with lactation support and infant weight check -Convenient payment plans.
The Premium Package - $900 If you are looking for support before, during and after having your baby this is the package for you! This package includes: Everything listed in the Step-Up Package PLUS 10 hours of Postpartum Doula care within the first 6 weeks after delivery, set up with what works for you! Use the extra postpartum support for infant care, meal prep, light household chores, parent support, and education.
Scheduled Cesarean Support: $400 Having a doula during a cesarean can still be very beneficial. I will provide one prenatal visit, one postpartum visit, and support the day of your cesarean. You can expect both physical and emotional support as I help ease your fears, discomforts, nausea, shakes, etc. I will assist with breastfeeding as soon as possible after birth.
For all birth packages a $200.00 retainer fee is required upon signing of my contract. This secures me (Robin Dietel), as your doula, and is non-refundable. My doula fee is not required all at once, and payment plans are set by the family that I serve.
Postpartum Home Visit: $50 A home visit can help ‘bridge the gap’ between you and/or baby’s provider visits. During the home visit I will assess how you are adjusting to being a new parent, provide lactation/feeding support, weigh baby, help you organize your space, answer questions and provide resources for you.
Childbirth Education Sessions: Offered to ANYONE desiring education! Taking a comprehensive childbirth class maximizes your chance of having a vaginal delivery. As a Lamaze certified childbirth educator and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I can provide clients well-rounded birth, postpartum, newborn and lactation education. Classes are offered in a 6-week series format. You may choose to take all 6 classes OR choose which classes would most benefit you! Classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at my office in Marshfield. For class dates, contact myself or check the Mema D’s Facebook page! Classes offered: Session 1: Pre-labor, labor process, birth ($25.00) Session 2: Comfort measures during labor/ practice ($25.00) Session 3: Medical interventions, C-section delivery, pain medicine/epidural ($25.00) Session 4: Newborn care ($25.00) Session 5: Breastfeeding ($25.00) Session 6: 4th trimester/ postpartum care ($25.00) *If you choose to take ALL 6 sessions you will get a price discount! For all 6 sessions you pay only $125.00.
Lactation Consultant Visit: $75 for initial consultation (up to 2 hours). $35/hour for follow up. Consultation with an IBCLC prior to birth can provide you with the information you need for a positive breastfeeding journey. After birth consultations aid with latch, nipple & breast care, infant weight/milk transfer, pumping and resources for continued supportive care.
You've added a new baby (or two) to your family via surrogacy and need support and education on how to care for your little bundle. I can help! Especially useful for those parents who are traveling from overseas and have no close family/friend support during those first few weeks. I can come stay at your residence and assist in all aspects of infant care as well as educating you on how to care for your new baby before traveling home! In-home care available for $25/hr (7am-7pm) or $30/hr (7pm-7am) 24-hour care $500/day
I offer support and education before, during and after the birth of your baby. I provide in-office and in-home lactation consults. I offer FREE postpartum support groups for Mom's and baby's with weight checks available. I will help help siblings get ready for the arrival of the new baby. No matter what your financial background may be, you can benefit from hiring a doula. Birth doulas provide excellent support and care for you before, during, and shortly after your birth. Studies show that Moms who use a birth doula are also less likely to need interventions and have an overall more positive experience with their birth. Likewise, postpartum doulas provide great emotional and practical support to new parents after the birth of their baby. Postpartum doulas can teach you helpful tips for infant care while supporting you in your adjustment to new parenthood. Couples who use postpartum doulas have better breast/bodyfeeding outcomes as well as improved postpartum mental health. As a Lactation Consultant, I offer home visits to assist with latch, positioning, supply, and weight checks. Consultations can be done prenatal OR postpartum! Lastly, I have begun to take on 24/7 assignments for International families who are delivering via a surrogate. I help with education and support of the infant during the weeks after delivery as documentation for travel are being obtained. Adoptee families may also benefit from my services. I wouldn’t go through birth without her! Robin brings a multitude of experience as a nurse, mother, lactation specialist and grandmother.
