I adopted an amazing little boy two days ago! I live in Chicago and I’m currently staying at a hotel with him all by myself as I await for the legal work to be completed. Sweet little boy has not slept in two nights and I seriously feel sick from the sleep deprivation. I also want understand what’s keeping him up and how I can help him. I’m looking to hire somebody as soon as possible actually hopefully tonight who has excellent experience with newborns. Looking for night nanny 1-3 nights a week for our son who was born 6 weeks premature on March 3. We are flexible on which nights of the week. We can pay $30-$50 per hour.

Preference is for someone with 5+ years experience and English as primary language. My husband and I looking for some overnight help with our newborn on a part time basis (a few nights per week). I am breastfeeding, but we do offer one bottle feed a day. This usually takes place during the day but could occur overnight to help us get a bit more sleep. We want someone who could offer bottle feeding, burping, diaper changes, etc. - strong preference for someone experienced with helping to alleviate gas in babies as well as general calming and sleep strategies. Our budget is flexible depending on the candidate’s experience and skill level.
