My name is Darby and I work primarily as an Overnight Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula. As a Newborn Care Specialist I support you in your first 12-20 weeks home with a new baby with 30 to 60 hours a week of overnight or daytime care. I will get you set off on the right foot when it comes to having a healthy sleep schedule; working to get your little one (or ones!) sleeping through the night as it becomes age appropriate. I will support their eating needs to ensure their intake supports age appropriate growth and successful sleep, whether that is through breast feeding, formula feeding, bottle feeding or some combination of those options. And most importantly I will be able to keep a close eye on your newest and tiniest family member to make sure their health, development, and habits are all trending in the right direction. Overall my objective is to get a sense for your goals in the first few months to help educate, support, and assess the baby’s and family’s needs.
