My goal is to have a natural, unmedicated birth in a hospital setting, one that balances a holistic, respectful approach with the safety and backup of hospital resources if needed. I’m looking for a doula who can support me in: Staying empowered and informed throughout labor Using movement, positions, and comfort techniques during labor Advocating for a calm and respectful birth experience Collaborating with my OB and hospital team to support my birth plan I value a birth where I feel fully supported, my choices are respected, and I have guidance from someone experienced in natural hospital births.

I plan to give birth at Baylor Scott and white hospital in McKinney tx. This is my first baby so I’m not sure what to expect for my budget, but I would like to receive a quote. I am looking for a doula that can help prioritize my birth plan and focus on my needs during the birth, while the OB focuses on the baby. I would really like to give birth vaginally and am looking for someone who values modern medicine but can also help keep things as natural as possible if it is safe. I’m looking for someone who will advocate for me when things get crazy in the delivery room and who is willing to coach me through labor and help support my husband in supporting me. I am currently hoping to give birth un medicated, but I am open minded as I have never experienced labor before. I know I will want delayed cord cutting and breastmilk only. I would also like to learn about different birth positions and reduce the risk of tearing and as natural as possible birth if the placenta.

We will be giving birth at the William Clements hospital with UT Southwestern. We would prefer an unmedicated vaginal birth if possible, but are happy to giving birth at the hospital in case of emergencies.

I’m a fairly young first time mother so i’m not really well versed in all the labor & baby things. I plan on having the baby at metropolitan methodist Hospital, from my brief research i’d say my budget would be about $1500 & as far as my birth plan i’d like to give birth in a hospital, medicated as i’m not sure if anything else as of yet.
