We are looking for a certified doula to care for our three month old baby girl. The plan is, starting on 8/31/2026, Monday - Thursday 10am - 4pm, 6 hours a day, for 5 weeks (ending in 10/1), and we live in San Mateo.

Hospital - Mills Peninsula Burlingame (but stay home as long as possible because I hear going to hospital too early results in more complications) Provide your estimated budget $2000-$2500 Describe your birth plan I don't have a fully fleshed out one yet and need some help crafting it if the birth doula can help. I want vaginal birth as much as possible unless there are absolute necessary conditions/complications that require a C-section. I don't want induction unless it's absolutely necessary. I want an epidural and also open to try other pain relieving methods but that doesn't mean I don't want epidural.

Looking for a birth doula that is fully covered by my Kaiser Norcal plan. I am being induced soon -- 10/1/26 (39 weeks) -- at Kaiser Redwood City but just learned that health insurance now covers doulas so am a bit behind. Second baby, attempting vbac. Didn't have a doula with my first birth. Ended up being induced due to heart rate decelerations, labour progressed well but babe was struggling with contractions so moved to c section. I really felt like I missed out on a physiological birth, and I've been told by my OB that I'm likely a good candidate for a vbac. Currently 33 weeks, IVF pregnancy.
