We plan to give birth at Walnut Creek Kaiser. We are hoping to find a doula who takes Kaiser insurance. We have not yet developed a birth plan.

I am giving birth at UCSF Mission Bay, My insurance covers up to 12 visits and labor support and I am also interested in postpartum support.

I want to do a water birth. On the cheaper side Birth Plan: Baby & Mom Stay Connected My Birth Philosophy I want my birth experience to be calm, respectful, and centered around keeping my baby and me together as much as safely possible. I value informed consent, gentle care, skin-to-skin bonding, and a peaceful environment. I understand birth can be unpredictable, and my priority is a healthy baby and healthy mother. I am giving birth at a hospital and would like to have a natural birth without an epidural if possible. I want to have the freedom to move around and walk, stretch, shower to distract my mind versus being stuck to the bed after a shot. I would like to support in what moves and stretches to achieve this goal.

I try to live a more holistic life style these days and after becoming aware of the pharmaceutical industry and how they operate in the US.
