Looking for support and education for a hospital birth (Intermountain Medical Center) which will be supervised by our obstetrician. Hoping for minimum necessary medical intervention (e.g. no or low-dose epidural). Hoping to focus on breathing, mindset, mobility during delivery. Also looking for lactation consultant support as needed. Certified doula and lactation consultant required. We are a 29 year old first time mom with supportive spouse. English language primary. Budget around $3,000 total but open to negotiation.
My baby has what google says is lip blisters from his sucking. He was born at 37w3 and initially had issues with feeding. He eats from a bottle. I struggle with breast feeding. It hurts me and I dont think he gets much, despite me being an over supplier. Im also wondering if I am utilizing my pumps appropriately. My nipples turn white/purple afterwards and its very painful when the pump is off. Id love an in home visit, I only use wearable pumps as the spectra pump I have really hurts me, despite trying multiple flanges. Plus I get double output with my wearables. I have Tricare insurance. I'm happy to pay out of pocket if needed. Id love to be able to breast feed more.
I need support in my pregnancy and delivery. I will be giving birth in a hospital facility.
Trying to increase supply for about 8 weeks now. Exclusively pumping and only produce about an ounce. He is combo feeding right now. I would love to meet in person and want to go through insurance
First time pregnancy. Hoping for an unmedicated hospital birth. Looking for a doula who has experience being an advocate/hospital translator so I don’t get taken advantage of financially or otherwise. I haven’t chosen a hospital yet. Not sure what exactly I want my “birth plan” to look like. Would love some orientation and support.
I am seeing an OBGYN at the University of Utah hospital here in Salt Lake but I am searching for a doula that could advocate for my more natural leaning birth plan in case I am unable to do so. This is my first baby and I am more wholistic minded but do not completely trust that the hospital will respect my wishes and I am hoping to find someone that will be consistent with my wishes and advocate for them where needed. I am also looking for someone that is covered by Aetna insurance.
Hello! My name is Bridgette and I will be having my first kid at 27 y/o. Totally unplanned, Ive been single for a while and baby father is not in the picture. Family support is limited. I am planning on an unmedicated water birth. I am looking for a doula that is certified in Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration (CBSD)- TRICARE insurance requirement. Bonus points if photography/video is available. Will pay out of pocket. Due to mental health I will try to get a refferal for a post partum Doula.
Tricare certified is a must. Plan to give birth at a hospital but would like it to be as natural an experience as possible.
My baby just had her two week pediatrician appointment and she hasn’t gained much weight since leaving the hospital. My pediatrician recommended a lactation consultant to check latch and maybe do a weighted feed.
I'm planning on having a hospital birth. I'd love to find a doula that is covered by insurance. I'm still putting together a more detailed birth plan currently since we recently found out we're expecting our 2nd baby.
6 months postpartum with no issues until now. Suddenly having really intense pain in one breast that doesn’t go away. My baby’s latch looks normal but i get really sharp pains when he feeds off of that side. In person or virtual is fine
Painful feeds, engorgement, shallow latch, feels a lot of pain pumping too
I need help with latching my baby after he’s on my boob for over an hour he’s still hungry. And then when I pump I’m getting a few ounces. I’m not understanding what’s happening. I’ve been having to give him formula between breastfeeding and me pumping cause he’s still hungry… I really want to just breast feed. I need help 😭
I’m struggling with milk supply dip, and getting her to latch without a nipple shield. I moved to mostly pumping but I’m having more pain than seems normal, and could use some help with both latching in sitting positions along with consultation on my pumping and milk increase.
