Hi, I'm Alison! It wasn’t until I cared for my nephew for 2 years that I realized the significant impact a doula can bring by supporting new parents as well as the whole family. I have always been passionate about the importance of creating supportive and nurturing spaces. I am also a musical artist and have been singing since I was a child. Using my voice to help others is very fulfilling and I believe it can be a powerful tool for healing. Being in the outdoors and with animals as well as dancing are few of my interests. I am a trained and certified birth and postpartum doula through Keely Semler, MPH, CD. I am also a trained postpartum doula through DONA International, am working towards DONA certification and am CPR/First Aid certified. My pronouns are she/her.

Hello There! My name is Aly Gonzalez and I identify as she/her. I'm a mother to a sweet four year old boy named Luke and married a former Marine for almost 7 years! My Journey in Newborn care started way before I had my son, began back in 2018. I was introduced to an amazing family who needed the extra help overnight and I took up the opportunity as I knew I was more than cable of helping out the family in this new season. The family really opened up my eyes to an amazing opportunity of being able to help families with new babies. I was fascinated and took a leap of faith to start my own business as a New Born Care Specialist. I got certified and never looked back. Had my baby boy three years later and dove back into my business, as an ever better NCS because I now had a better and deeper understanding what it was like to come from the hospital with a new baby. I fell in love deeper with my job and got certified as a Postpartum Doula, furthering my education in the postpartum world. I'm now a newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, and a breastfeeding specialist. I'm Constantly continuing my education in newborn and postpartum care. I've worked with singles, multiples, and babies with special needs. I offer personalized care for every single one of my families depending on their wants and unique needs. I'm here to help support you emotionally, physically, offer lactation support, education, resources and empowerment. I truly love my job and being part of my clients postpartum journey, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Alejandra was an absolute godsend during my postpartum journey. Her calm, nurturing presence made those overwhelming early weeks feel manageable and even beautiful. She supported my daughter, helped with the baby duties, and reminded me to care for myself — all with kindness and expertise. I truly don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. My daughter’s sleep schedule now is amazing and I know it was from her doula support. Highly, highly recommend!

Hello, I am a certified Postpartum Doula living in West LA with my husband and two children. We are a British family and we moved over here from London in 2019. We have since created a wonderful new life for ourselves in the LA sunshine. Since becoming a mother myself, I’ve realized I have a nurturing spirit inside me. My goal, as a certified postpartum doula, is to support and educate families through their transition into the 4th trimester, by providing a safe, and empowering space to heal and connect with their new baby.

Recent review

I honestly don’t know how I would’ve survived those first six weeks without Kate. From day one, she felt like a trusted friend who just happened to be an absolute baby genius. Every morning she’d arrive with that sunshine-in-her-smile energy, ready to tackle my ever-growing laundry pile and whip up the most comforting meals I could dream of—everything from protein-packed breakfasts to those cozy soups that warmed me to my bones. But the best part? Watching her with my baby. She somehow knew exactly how to soothe my little one’s hiccups and fussy spells—rocking, swaddling, gentle shushing—like she’d been a baby whisperer her whole life. And she let me take that long-overdue bath I desperately needed! Thank god. If you’re looking for someone who will hold your baby so you can breathe, who’ll nourish your body and your spirit, and who’ll make you laugh when you’re barely keeping your eyes open—Kate is your person. I’ll be forever grateful for her support, her tips, and that big heart of hers.

Hi, I’m Jade (she/her) — a Full Spectrum Doula based in Los Angeles, offering both local and virtual support. I am certified as a Full Spectrum Doula through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings, which provided the foundation for my practice in reproductive justice and inclusive support. I am also a Community-Based Doula trained through SBCC Thrive LA, a non-profit program rooted in community-driven care. My work is guided by non-judgement, providing inclusive, culturally competent support and evidence-based guidance. Outside of birthwork, I love practicing yoga, exploring new places and learning languages. I also love newborn care, R&B music, and reading. Fun fact about me- I am a twin!

Recent review

Jade was amazing doula, For someone who was alone as a teen mom, she was really inspiring and helpful throughout my pregnancy. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't know what to do or except. she brings great energy in answering questions and giving information out. Always made sure I was doing good. She would give me useful stuff to use. She was there for me while I was in labor, she made sure I was comfortable, she was also helped me relax and gave me wonderful help with breathing techniques. She also thought me how to latch my baby so he can eat.

I'm a Los Angeles birth/postpartum doula, Certified lactation counselor and a belly binding specialist. I believe that birth is sacred making it one of the most vulnerable times in our life, my duty is to protect that. I'm the birth coach guiding you, helping you understand the physiological process of birth, your birth rights and helping you through postpartum. Being a mom of two helps me understand deeper what someone may need during these times. My philosophy is "hold the mother so she can then hold her baby".

As an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), CLC, and Certified Postpartum Doula, my passion lies in educating, supporting, and holding space for all parents of newborn(s), especially around feeding. My trainings and experience provide me the opportunity to teach prenatal classes for expecting parents, of which I usually do privately in-home, and counsel families 1:1 with lactation support. Some of my specialities and services revolve around my knowledge of how to build a lactation foundation in the early weeks, care for a newborn, support the parent(s) based on their individual needs, and create infant routines. I currently work as an educator teaching lactation foundation and newborn care prenatal classes, as a lactation consultant, and as a nighttime postpartum doula, and I love every second of it!

Recent review

I can’t recommend Clarissa enough! I really struggled with breastfeeding after my first pregnancy as well as supply issues. I worked with 3 other experienced lactation consultants and Clarissa was by far the best! She’s kind, understanding, validated my experiences, really listened, and was supportive even after it sessions.

Hi, I’m Tremaine Wilson. I am a full-spectrum birth & postpartum doula, lactation educator, newborn care specialist, and Phase-2 student midwife serving families across Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County. My philosophy is rooted in calm, informed, culturally-attuned care. I believe birth is sacred, physiological, and deeply individual. My role is to help families feel safe, educated, and supported, while honoring the emotional, spiritual, and physical layers of pregnancy and postpartum. I integrate evidence-informed practice with intuitive guidance, herbal support, and a grounded presence. I come from a long line of birthworkers, and I’ve spent years supporting families across hospitals, birth centers, and home births. My background in community care, reproductive justice, and newborn wellness shapes the way I show up — with compassion, advocacy, and reverence for each family’s story. I would love to walk alongside you through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

I had a wonderful experience with Tremaine. Before hiring her I was very nervous and she helped me prepare for labor mentality, emotionally and physically. My hospital birth was great all thanks to her. She really helped me a lot during labor by using aromatherapy, massage, positive affirmation, and guiding me on movements to help me cope with contractions. After labor she continued checking on me and gave me great advice that helped me heal. I recommend Tremaine because she has very caring, helpful and knowledgeable.

With over twenty five years' experience as an NCS(newborn care specialist), CPPD(certified postpartum doula), & Certified Lactation Educator Counselor, I aspire to be a calming, nonjudgmental  and supportive presence for parents during the first few weeks/months with their newborn(s). I do this with kind and straightforward coaching and assistance in lactation, newborn care, sleep facilitation and other areas of a new baby's development.  Looking forward to helping you navigate the start of your exciting journey into parenthood.

We highly recommend Melanie, whose expertise in newborn care, CPR training, and lactation support was invaluable to us as first-time parents. Melanie was our trusted source of advice, education, and guidance for both our son’s care and my postpartum recovery. Melanie’s meticulousness, thoughtfulness, and nurturing approach was transformative. Under her guidance, I navigated breastfeeding successfully and our son developed positive sleep habits by 8 weeks, allowing him to sleep through the night. Melanie’s calm and reassuring presence replaced any anxiety we had with confidence and peace of mind from the moment we arrived home. Her support allowed us time to focus on healing, bonding, and building confidence as new parents—gifts we are deeply grateful for. Melanie’s impact on our family’s well-being was immeasurable, giving us the best start possible.

To me the most important thing about this work is the human touch. Having grown up attending births in my family, I am a supportive, intuitive experienced doula who centers the whole family. You are the parent, not the patient to me. I focus on helping you move your body in ways that will help bring the baby down, using my hands, heart, and breath work at the center of my care. I have experience with many community births at home and in birthing centers (Simi Valley Birth Center and the Brooklyn Birthing Center), as well was with many hospital births in Los Angeles, Ventura, New York City, and Seattle. I am passionate about giving normal, humanizing service and advocacy to disabled and high risk parents to center your voice, needs, and access from start to finish. In order to provide a stronger service within the disability community, I work with a partner or group.

Working with Alison was a wonderful experience. From the beginning moments of telling her about my pregnancy through to the post natal experience, she showed her strong intuitive skills, used her sense of humor and was able to guide us through this wondrous process. Alison was especially helpful at offering clarity around my choices in labor and especially a strong supporter when I felt pressure from my team of doctors to take the epidural. Alison reminded me that I had a choice and that freed me to make the right decision for me. Alison was also adept at councelling my husband and I throughout our pre labor experience around the myriad of changes, emotions, wonders and fear that having a child brought up for us. She always provided a safe environment for us that was healing, engaging and fun. Alison used her intuition to guide us in working together as a couple and was able to read exactly what we needed individually and together. Alison used her own weatlth of knowledge from various areas in her life to support us and remind us of the constant flow that occurs in labor and in child rearing. This helped me to trust in the process; something I am not always great at! Her kindness and ability to be present and focused was an immense help to me in the delivery room. From talking a family member away from the delivery room, to navigating doctors, to coaching my husband to helping me and giving me space when needed was amazing. I happily and whole heartedly recommend Alsion to work with as a birthing partner and aly on the birth journey.

I am a postpartum doula and baby nurse with 10+ years of experience caring for infants, children, and adults in both hospital and home settings. Previously, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Pediatrics, Postpartum, and Oncology units at Providence Saint John's and Cedars Sinai. Most recently, I've transitioned to working primarily in home settings. Being a CNA has increased my knowledge of overall health, physical fitness, and patient care for all ages. Caring for others is rewarding and fulfilling, which is why I continue to seek positions that will allow me to render the quality of care and compassion for which I am trained and gifted to provide. I've cared for a wide range of children ranging in age from newborn to fourteen years old. My passion for becoming a Postpartum Doula grew from my years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Oncology department, where I cared for patients through their end-of-life journeys. While this work was deeply meaningful, it also inspired me to seek the joy and hope found in birth. I am now excited to join Happy Mama Healthy, where I can build relationships with more mothers and families, and make a positive impact in the world of birth work. I’d love to be able to continue the conversation with you to learn more about the role and see how my skills can help your family. Thank you for your consideration.

Jacqueline has always brought a professional, thoughtful, and organized approach to the care of our child. Jacqueline makes play time fun, and my daughter is always happy to spend time with her. Jacqueline always goes the extra mile and helps with laundry, cleaning, and organization around the house. She does a fantastic job with keeping my daughters’ areas tidy, clean, and sanitized. Jacqueline can work in the intimate family environment with integrity and is trustworthy. We treasure Jacqueline and deeply value her contribution to our family.

Mara was wonderful!!! I was such a hormonal mess getting home from the hospital, and Mara helped me so much. I was afraid to let anyone hold my baby, but Mara was an exception. She was trustworthy in every way. She was a warm presence in our home. I also credit my baby sleeping through the night to Mara's nightly tending to him. She taught him patience and self-settling. I'm very grateful!
