I am planning a homebirth. I have a very tight budget. I have Anthem HDHP (PPO). My birth plan includes laboring and delivering without pain medication at home with my CNMs.

I want a calm, experienced doula who supports freedom of movement, desired birthing positions, no routine Pitocin, and is epidural-friendly. My budget is $3,000. Please tell me your experience with first-time moms and what’s included in your package.

Birth support Scripps hilcrest About 1,000 Birth place is San Diego ca in the hospital
hospital birth, 1st baby, vaginal birth. I am looking for a doula to provide guidance and advocacy leading up to and during the birth. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, science background, and can support me and my husband to work in partnership with our medical team. I appreciate guidance especially as I hope to avoid epidural where possible but I am also petite so thoughtful support throughout to have a safe birth. We are also looking for a night nanny post-birth to support care.
My wife is 10 weeks pregnant with our first child. We've yet to settle on a specific OBGYN but are hoping to work with Dr. Damon Cobb and give birth at Scripps. We are looking for someone to provide a few in home / live sessions to educate us on the process, then be present at and around delivery, and maybe 1 visit after birth. We would like someone who is certified and has a backup plan for day of delivery.
hello, i am looking for a doula covered by tri care. i am giving birth at Scripps la Jolla San Diego. my husband recently got deployed last minute and would like to find someone who can help coach me, support, educate and advocate for me during child birth. I am hoping to learn how to manage pain through labor and hopefully going unmedicated for as long as i can.
I’m looking for a birth doula that will guide and support us in the labor & delivery journey. I would love to get to meet with them 2-3 times prior to the birth in addition to having them present at the time of birth (major plus for any contact after too!). I plan to give birth in a hospital. Our estimated budget is $2,000-3,500. I’m feeling nervous about our first labor and birth experience, so I would love a doula focused on providing us with info necessary to help us feel prepared & confident to mitigate stress, as well as a doula with a calming and comforting energy. :)
Prenatal doula $1,200 through AFSPA insurance the foreign service benefits plan.
Ideally I wanted a home birth but the cost was out of our budget this time around. So a Hospital birth is the plan, natural, minimal hospital interventions, and I want to have a professional there that is comfortable advocating for us during the times we want to enjoy birth. We want long golden hour, the baby to stay in the room the entire time, no bath, no pulling on the placenta, and a few other things.
Scripps memorial La Jolla is the hospital I will deliver at. Attempting vbac after short umbilical cord lead to c-section with first labor. Estimated budget is around 2k, ideally under. I would love to labor at home as much as possible and utilize natural pain management in order to to prolong the epidural as long as possible ( last time I got it at 6 centimeters).
I plan on giving birth at a hospital in San Diego called Sharp Mary Birch. I'm more interested in the at birth services versus the postpartum due to living in a studio apartment. I hope to have an unmedicated birth, there has been talked about the possibility of induction due to some risks factors that are being monitored (gestational diabetes and high blood pressure readings). I would like to stay under $2,000, preferably $1,500.
Hospital I don’t have a budget or birth plan. But open to suggestions.
Hi! I’m currently looking for a doula. This is my second baby, and my first birth was very traumatic due to complications with my epidural, so I’m hoping to try a different approach this time. I’m specifically looking for a bilingual doula (English & Spanish) who is affiliated with Kaiser, has worked with Kaiser, or has a Kaiser provider number. Thank you so much!
