About me

I’m Sara, a holistic fertility and birth practitioner supporting women through preconception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the profound transition into motherhood. My background blends fertility and holistic health training, nutrition, nervous system regulation, yoga, functional wellness, quantum biology, and circadian health, with a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom. My work is also shaped by lived experience. Including pregnancy loss, IVF, medically complex pregnancies and births, and postpartum recovery, which has given me a deeply personal understanding of how much compassionate, informed support matters. I take a whole person approach to care, integrating physical, emotional, energetic, and environmental wellness, and I am currently continuing my education through holistic midwifery training.

This package includes personalized prenatal preparation, continuous labor support, and postpartum follow-up, with the option to add additional prenatal or postpartum sessions depending on the level of support you desire. One Prenatal Session We’ll meet for approximately 90 minutes before your birth to get to know one another, talk through your hopes and preferences, and prepare you and your partner for labor. Your prenatal session may include: * Exploring your birth preferences, priorities, questions, and concerns * Discussing your desired birth environment and what helps you feel safe and supported * Reviewing the stages of labor and what to expect * Birth-preference and birth-plan support * Preparing for an unmedicated birth, medicated birth, induction, or cesarean birth based on your individual circumstances * Comfort measures and labor positions * Breathwork, movement, relaxation, and nervous-system regulation techniques * Partner education and ways your partner can feel more confident and involved * Discussing communication and informed decision-making within your birth setting * Preparing emotionally for birth and identifying fears or areas where you may want additional support * Beginning the conversation around postpartum recovery and support My approach combines traditional doula support with my background in holistic wellness, yoga, breathwork, nutrition, nervous-system regulation, and emotional support. Continuous Labor & Birth Support As you approach your due date, we’ll remain in communication and discuss when it makes sense for me to join you. Birth support may include: * Continuous presence during active labor and birth * Reassurance and emotional support * Breathwork and relaxation techniques * Position changes and movement to support comfort and labor progression * Hands-on comfort measures and counter-pressure * Creating a calm and supportive birth environment * Helping you stay connected to your intentions and preferences * Supporting your partner so they can remain involved without feeling responsible for remembering everything * Helping you formulate questions and understand the options being presented by your medical team * Encouragement through challenging moments and transitions * Support immediately following birth as you settle in with your baby I do not replace your medical providers or make medical decisions for you. My role is to help you feel supported, informed, and empowered to communicate with your care team throughout your experience. One Postpartum Session Your package also includes one postpartum visit, generally scheduled during the first few weeks after birth. This session is centered around you—not simply the baby. We may spend time: * Processing your birth experience and giving you space to tell your story * Checking in on your emotional and physical recovery * Discussing postpartum nourishment, hydration, rest, and recovery * Supporting nervous-system regulation during the transition into motherhood * Talking through newborn rhythms and the adjustment to life with your baby * Helping identify areas where you may need more support * Connecting you with additional postpartum, lactation, pelvic-floor, mental-health, or community resources when appropriate * Creating a realistic plan for rest, nourishment, and support during the weeks ahead Support Between Sessions Throughout our time together, you’ll also have access to ongoing communication for questions, preparation, encouragement, and resources as your birth approaches. The sacred postpartum
The Sacred Postpartum Mother-Centered Postpartum Doula Support The weeks after birth are not simply about adjusting to life with a newborn. They are a profound period of physical recovery, emotional integration, bonding, nourishment and becoming. My postpartum care is rooted in a simple belief: when the mother is cared for, the entire family is better supported. Inspired by traditional postpartum wisdom alongside modern, trauma-aware care, this package is designed to protect your recovery, nourish your body, support your nervous system and give you the practical help you need so you can rest, heal and settle into life with your baby. Your Postpartum Package 12 hours of in-home postpartum support Typically offered as three 4-hour visits during the first six weeks after birth. Visits are intentionally flexible because what you need on day five may be very different from what you need at week five. Before Baby Arrives Your support begins with a brief postpartum planning conversation so we can talk through your preferences, support system and what you would most like the early weeks to feel like. Together we can consider: * Your anticipated physical recovery, including vaginal or cesarean birth * Who will be available to support you * Nourishment and meal planning * Rest and sleep support * Feeding intentions * Household and sibling needs * Emotional and mental-health support * Family and visitor boundaries * Your partner's role * Professional resources you may want available * What would help you personally feel safe, cared for and supported The goal isn't to create a perfect postpartum plan. It is to build a village around you before you need one. During Each Postpartum Visit Every visit is individualized. Rather than arriving with a rigid agenda, I meet you where you are that day. Caring for the Mother Your recovery matters. Depending on your needs, support may include: * Creating space for you to sleep, shower or simply be alone * Preparing a warm meal, snack or nourishing drink * Keeping water, food and recovery essentials within reach * Supporting comfortable rest and feeding positions * Gentle breathwork and nervous-system regulation * Restorative movement when appropriate * Reiki or grounding practices if desired * Emotional check-ins and compassionate listening * Making space to talk through and integrate your birth experience * Supporting the transition into your new identity as a mother—or as a mother of another child * Helping you recognize when additional professional support may be beneficial There is no expectation that you need to entertain me, have your home prepared or accomplish anything during our visit. This time is designed to take something off your plate. Nourishing the Postpartum Body Traditional postpartum cultures around the world have long recognized the importance of warmth, nourishment and rest after birth. Depending on your preferences and needs, I can help with: * Simple warm, nourishing meals * Protein and nutrient rich snacks * Hydration * Gentle foods that are easy to digest * Preparing food for later in the day * Setting up a bedside or nursing snack station * Basic meal planning for the postpartum weeks * Nutrition and wellness education within my scope of practice Food during this season isn't about restriction, dieting or “getting your body back.” It is about rebuilding. Baby Support I can care for your baby while you rest, shower, eat or spend time with an older child. Support may include: * Newborn soothing * Holding and settling baby * Diapering * Burping * Supporting feeding routines * Helping organize feeding and baby-care stations * Encouraging bonding and responsive newborn care * Helping parents become more confident reading baby's cues * Sharing practical newborn-care education within the doula scope For breastfeeding or feeding challenges beyond non-clinical doula support, I can help connect you with an IBCLC or other appropriate provider. Protecting Rest Sometimes the most valuable thing a postpartum doula can do is create enough space for a mother to actually stop. I can hold and care for baby, prepare food, reset the kitchen, start a load of laundry or quietly tend to the environment while you sleep or rest. Rest is not something you have to earn during postpartum. It is part of recovery. Tending the Home My role is not to deep-clean your home, but small acts of household care can make an enormous difference. During a visit I may: * Reset the kitchen * Wash bottles or feeding supplies * Fold or start baby laundry * Restock postpartum or diapering stations * Prepare simple meals or snacks * Tidy the spaces we're using * Help organize baby supplies * Make your bedroom or feeding space more restful * Take care of small tasks that are keeping you from resting The purpose is always the same: protecting your energy for healing, bonding and becoming. Emotional + Nervous System Support Birth changes more than the body. Postpartum care also means having someone who can listen without trying to fix, judge or minimize what you're experiencing. My background in nervous-system regulation, EFT, yoga, breathwork, holistic wellness and perinatal peer support allows me to bring an additional layer of emotional care to this work. Our time may include grounding practices, breathing, gentle movement, emotional processing or simply having someone present who understands that postpartum can hold joy, grief, exhaustion, vulnerability and love all at once. Doula support does not replace mental health or medical care. When something is outside my scope, I will encourage and help facilitate connection with the appropriate professional. Supporting the Partner + Family Postpartum care isn't about replacing your partner. It can help your partner become more confident and supported, too. I can help partners understand: * What postpartum recovery can look like * How to protect maternal rest * Ways to support feeding and bonding * Practical newborn soothing techniques * How to recognize when mom needs more support * How to manage visitors and outside expectations * Ways to care for themselves while caring for their growing family The goal is to leave your family feeling **more capable and connected, not dependent on your doula. The Postpartum Window While doula support can continue well beyond six weeks, I place special emphasis on protecting the early postpartum period. Those first weeks are a time for healing, nourishment, bonding, integration and establishing a new family rhythm. Rather than rushing a mother back toward her pre-baby life, my approach is to honor the transition she is actually moving through. You aren't going backward. You're becoming someone new. What's Included **The Sacred Postpartum Package includes:** * Postpartum planning conversation before birth * Three 4-hour postpartum visits * 12 total hours of individualized support * Mother-centered recovery and rest support * Warm meal/snack preparation during visits * Newborn care and soothing * Non-clinical feeding support * Light household care related to mother and baby * Nervous-system and emotional support * Birth-story listening and integration * Partner and family guidance * Personalized postpartum resources and referrals * Text support between scheduled visits for basic postpartum questions and check-ins Additional Support Postpartum rarely follows an exact timetable. Additional support can be added based on your family's needs, including: **Additional daytime postpartum visits** For families wanting ongoing support throughout the first six weeks and beyond. **Additional prenatal postpartum planning session A deeper session before birth to prepare your home, partner, meals, recovery supplies, support team and postpartum expectations. **Postpartum nourishment support** Additional time devoted to preparing simple warming meals, snacks and recovery focused foods. **Nervous System + Emotional Support Session A dedicated session incorporating grounding, EFT/tapping, breathwork, restorative practices and emotional support. **Extended Fourth-Trimester Support** Weekly or biweekly visits for families who would like continuity through the first 12 weeks. My Philosophy Postpartum support should not revolve entirely around caring for the baby while the mother disappears into the background. I am there to see you. To make sure you've eaten. To refill your water before you're thirsty. To hold your baby while you shower. To listen to your birth story. To remind you that rest is productive. To create a little more quiet around you. And to help you find your footing as you move through one of life's most profound transitions. Because a mother deserves to be mothered, too.
