About Sasha

Hi, I’m Sasha! I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT) who has been providing compassionate, therapeutic bodywork to clients since 2005. I offer an intuitive approach in our massage sessions coupled with a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order to treat the body as a whole. My practice serves families and individuals desiring to maintain healthful lives and has a special interest in prenatal and postpartum care. I am dedicated to providing quality bodywork to all people regardless of race, gender, or sexuality.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a note from my doctor or midwife?

In most cases-no! We will let you know if there is anything concerning on your intake form, and we can discuss how to move forward from there.

Is it ever too early or too late in my pregnancy to get a massage?

No! It is safe to receive massage in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester.

I have a high-risk pregnancy can I still get a massage?

In most cases, yes! We have taken specialized training to work with high-risk pregnancies.

I am on bedrest, can I still get a massage?

Yes! We are happy to bring the bliss to you and provide an at-home massage.

When can I get a postpartum massage?

It is safe to receive massage as soon as you have your baby, this includes vaginal or cesarean birth. We will position you comfortably if your abdomen or breasts are sore.

May I bring my baby with me to my appointment?

Yes, absolutely! Many new parents want to leave their baby in good hands and take a break. However, some prefer to bring their newborns with them. Your newborn is welcome here! Newborns usually sleep a lot and we will adjust the routine to the baby if needed (breastfeeding, etc.).

Do you make house calls?

Yes! All sessions are available in the comfort of your own home. We bring the massage table, linens, blankets, and lotions. You provide a warm open space. An outcall fee of $40 is added to the usual session rate for all home visits.
