My name is Kerri. I'm a mom to six children ranging in ages 27 down to 3 years. I'm a Registered Nurse of 18 years, mostly specializing in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn Nursery. I also worked as an RN in Pediatric Home Health. I currently work as needed as a Pediatric Behavioral Health RN. I fostered drug exposed newborns and their toddler siblings for 3.5 years, which resulted in the adoption of our youngest two children. Prior to my Nursing career, I was a Professional Nanny for 13 years, caring for infants, toddlers and preschool age children. I have a passion for homebirth and VBACs, and assisting women as they make their journey into motherhood is my favorite thing in the world. I want nothing more than to help make your birth dreams come true. I’ve had 2 of my own VBACs - one of which was in the comfort of my home, completely intervention free! For most women, it is absolutely possible to birth in power even if you’re told you’re not capable…I know because I did it! I also have accumulated over 5 years of experience as a nursing mother. 🙂 When I’m not at a birth, I’m outside with my chickens or in the garden.
