We are seeking an experienced, compassionate live-in newborn care specialist to provide 24/7 support for our growing family for approximately 2–3 months, depending on our baby's sleep development and our family's needs. This is for our second child, and we're looking for someone who can become a trusted partner during this special season while fitting seamlessly into our family as we all navigate the transition—especially our toddler. We were incredibly fortunate to have the most amazing night nurse with our first baby, and she truly became part of our family. We still keep in touch with her today, and we're hoping to find someone who values building that same kind of long-term, trusting relationship. We're looking for more than a caregiver—we're looking for someone who will provide warmth, confidence, guidance, and support during those precious first months. Provider Requirements Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), Postpartum Doula, or equivalent certification preferred Extensive professional experience caring for newborns from birth CPR and Infant First Aid certified Exceptional references required Non-smoker Knowledge of gentle, evidence-based newborn sleep practices Comfortable supporting breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or combination feeding Warm, proactive, organized, and professional with excellent communication skills
Night nurse needed between 11 PM to 9AM weekends
- I would like to give birth at a birth center/c-section/water birth. - i’m still waiting to hear from my insurance (Charity Care or WellPoint) but I think a little over $1500 - I mean, i feel like CPR + any life-or-death certifications, I don’t want someone extremely young or religious, I would like someone who speaks Spanish fluently to explain things to my family. - I’m 20 years old and my husband is 23 years old (our birthdays are before the delivery) - To be honest I would like sleep training as well as cooking and the best things to always have in mind this is our first kid!
The doula must be certified through DONA International, ICEA or National Black Doula's Association as a doula. Must speak English. Must have at least 5-6 years experience. I need a Doula to help with the baby after birth, during the day for 3-4 days the beginning, help with washing the baby and changing diapers and then just at night to wash and feed the baby, rock the baby back to sleep or change diapers, etc as needed. My budget is max $2,500, I’d like to have someone for at least 2 weeks if not 3 weeks after birth, depending on their rate. Will be helpful if they also can help take out the garbage to the curb, since I hear babies go through diapers very quickly. (I also need help with feeding the cat, 1-2 times at night if he cries for food as well). This is my first child, so I may also need some training and advice on what to do.
I would love to have a trusted night nurse to help us get through the new born trenches.
I want to gift my sister a Night Nanny service for her first baby. She lives in West Orange New Jersey. Looking for someone who specializes in Night Nanny care, who takes detailed notes, and is certified. Hoping for hours of 8pm - 6am. Of high importance to me is a nurse certified in safe sleep practices to reduce risk of SIDS, middle of the night breastfeeding support like bringing the baby to mom and then handling everything afterwards (burping, holding upright, swaddling etc), washing of bottle and pump parts as well as milk collection, labeling and storage methods.
