My name is Shavonne Stevens (Seneca, Wolf Clan) and I reside on Seneca Nation Territory in Irving, NY. I am a Full Spectrum Indigenous Doula and Lactation Counselor. My goal is to help empower new parents and families and provide guidance during their birth and postpartum experiences. I know I have done my job when my clients are calm, confident and prepared for any transition parenthood may take them. I am honored to share my knowledge and provide support throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey!

How far do you travel?

I offer my doula services in Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. This is an Indigenous owned business, but doula services are available to anyone.

What if I schedule a cesarean?

I will meet you at the hospital and help you prepare mentally and emotionally. While in the OR and if the hospital allows it, I will be right next to you and your partner. After the birth of your baby, I will take pictures of you and your family bonding and the arrival of any family members who might join you to meet your baby immediately after birth.
