My Name Is Shawnesi Elaine. I am a certified Birth Doula in the RDU area. I specialize in Meditation,holistic health and healing, Organic Soap, newborn care, self-care. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Development. 10+ years in Childcare education and newborn care. My practice philosophy is to create a safe space for all birthing persons and parents seeking informational and emotional support throughout the duration of their birthing journey and after. I believe that birth is a sacred space and should be treated as such. In my free time, I enjoy practicing the harp, reading, meditation and exploring herbalism.
The services I offer are Prenatal Visits (in person or virtual), virtual doula (no birth attendance), holistic remedies, meditation, energy channeling,new baby home preparation, birth attendance, postpartum 2week care.
Shawn was amazing! During my pregnancy and during my labor and delivery. She was very attentive and explained things we didn’t know. Gave step by step instructions. Gave us answers on how to handle the unexpected. Overall she was just amazing

I loved having Shawnesi as my doula! She was super supportive both during and after my pregnancy. Having her in attendance during my birth was the BEST! I honestly don’t think that I would have made it through labor without her. She was there my entire 16 hours of labor to hold my hand, assisting with bathroom, birthing exercise, anything I need she was there and I can’t thank her enough. I couldn’t have chose a better person to love me through my entire pregnancy and labor process. WE LOVE SHAWNESI 10/10 HIGHLY Recommend ❤️

Throughout my pregnancy Shawnessi was 100% great. She was beyond supportive, and didn’t miss a beat. From early to late night texts and crazy questions, I definitely do not think I would have made it without her. Not only is she involved and supportive during pregnancy but post partum as well.
