PHILOSOPHY the postpartum period is underrated and severely under supported. Support during this valuable time can have huge impacts on the whole family”s physical/mental/spiritual health. I am a mother of 10 that loves babies, herbs and nature and i offer a calm restorative presence. CARE As a postpartum doula I can offer support/advice. But mostly it just helps to have an extra set of hands for yourself. I can do light chores, run errands, help with meals, support lactation, teach you to swaddle , belly binding, and more. i can encapsulate your placenta and recommend/prepare herbal treatments for various health reasons. I also offer grief support. Having experienced miscarriage and grief myself, I know the pain and the awkwardness with trying to live normally after what is an often invisible major life event

Placenta encapsulation involves: cleaning, steaming with garlic, dehydrating, grinding into powder. I like to add an optional herbal blend with things like nettle, comfrey, hops, red raspberry leaf, and other herbs that increase nutrition and healing. This not only super charges your placenta benefits, but increases the amount you receive. Includes FREE tree of life print The placenta is an amazing organ that functions as a stomach, liver, bowel, and brain. It has two membranes that allow the mother’s and the baby’s blood to pass so closely that they can share nutrients without touching. The baby’s side of the placenta features rich branches of this nourishing tree. It’s the view your baby grew to and the power that’s sustained them. I essentially use that like a stamp in whatever colors you desire to create a unique keepsake.

This package includes 10 hrs of care plus placenta encapsulation. You pick which hours you’d like help most . 2-3 hour time blocks usually work best so you can enjoy your family time. We’ll go over what your needs and expectations are so you can feel most peaceful. I add in placenta encapsulation which can be done with our without herbs added for extra support ie, extra iron, or mood stabilizing etc.
