Looking for a doula to assist with an unmedicated birth

I’m looking for doula and a midwife who can strongly advocate for me as I am a black African American women I want to do home birth but I’m sure I would have to do a hospital and I do have an estimated budget

I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.

Hi! My name is Makayla Borne. I’m a first time mother at 24 years old. I am currently 28 weeks and 3 days pregnant. To be completely honest I feel very under prepared. I have a few ideas as to what I want on my birth plan but definitely need help making an official one. I would just love it if someone with more experience and knowledge could help me out. 1. Milton Hospital 2. 10-15k 3. Hmmm to give birth at a hospital but we will need support before, during and after pregnancy. Also we would like to know the do and don't as parents since this is our first child. We may also need a nanny after birth to help us out for the first few months.

I plan to give birth at U of L in downtown Louisville. Since it is fully out of pocket, I am hoping to spend less than 1500$ This will be my first child, I am due in late July. I am wanting to go as natural as possible, but since I really have no idea what to expect as far as what my body will feel, I want to be open to doing what I feel I need at the time. I very much want to naturally go into labor rather than having to use Pit to induce. My wife will be with me, but I would love to have someone there that is focusing solely on being my advocate and making the experience as smooth as possible. I would ideally love to not have an epidural, but I also want to prepare to give myself grace in the moment if I decide to change my mind.

I will be giving birth in a hospital. However, I don’t have a birth plan yet. Which is one of the reason I would like a doula. As for a budget, I was hoping someone would take insurance or would be able to work thangs out through my insurance.

Hospital birth at Norton labor and delivery St. Matthews location. Using health insurance (Passport by Molina). This is my first pregnancy and I’m unsure of what a birth plan entails. I do plan on having an epidural. I would also like for there to be delayed cord clamping. As well as splitting skin to skin “golden hour” between my husband and I.

I plan to give birth with Norton OBs in Louisville Ky. I am on Medicaid PASSPORT. I would love to have a doula that accepts this Medicaid, but if not, I’d like to spend less than $1000 if possible. I don’t have a birth plan nailed down yet, but I’d like to do as natural as possible.

I plan to give birth in a hospital I have not decided what pain management I want. I will be taking care of the baby alone as my family lives out of state. My budget is roughly $300-$400 per week

I plan to give birth at the hospital, I am considered a high risk patient due to a medication I am taking that makes me immunocompromised. I am hoping for a natural mostly unmedicated birth. This is my first pregnancy. I’m looking for someone who is gentle and kind who will be the there to help me through each step of birth and postpartum.

I will be going to St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton. Our budget would be around $1,500-$2,000. My ideal birth plan would be a vaginal birth with my husband there with my doula. Listening to music would be great but I don’t want other unnecessary noises and people present if they don’t need to be. I don’t want my water artificially broken and I do not want to be induced if it can be avoided. I do want an epidural for pain management. I would like delayed cord cutting and to have my baby spend the golden hour with me after they are born. I do not want an episiotomy or things like forceps to be used to deliver my baby if it can be avoided. I want the process to be as calm as possible.
