Hi! I’m Sheralka, a certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, mother, fine artist, and founder of Genesis Postpartum Care. I provide compassionate overnight postpartum and newborn support to families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. My passion for postpartum care comes from both my professional caregiving background and my personal journey into motherhood. Becoming a mother deepened my understanding of just how important it is for families to feel supported, reassured, and cared for during those early weeks. My approach is gentle, attentive, and judgment-free. I believe every family deserves care that respects their individual needs, parenting preferences, and values. Whether I’m tending to your newborn, offering a listening ear, or helping you get some much-needed rest, my goal is to bring peace of mind and a comforting presence into your home. Beyond postpartum care, I’m also a fine artist specializing in hyperrealistic portraiture, with a particular passion for capturing the beauty of newborns and motherhood. Through Genesis Postpartum Care, I bring these two passions together by offering families the opportunity to commission meaningful, personalized artwork that celebrates their journey into parenthood. Compassionate overnight support to help parents rest and recover. Includes newborn feeding assistance, diaper changes, soothing, safe sleep practices, bottle preparation and cleaning, and light baby-related tasks. Minimum 8-hour shift.

Personalized overnight care for families with twins, including feeding assistance, diaper changes, soothing, safe sleep practices, bottle preparation and cleaning, and light baby-related tasks. Helping parents get much-needed rest while their little ones receive attentive care. Minimum 8-hour shift.

Can I commission a keepsake portrait without booking postpartum care?

Yes. Fine-art keepsakes are available as stand alone commissions and do not require booking postpartum support with Genesis. Portraits are created from your chosen reference photograph and are available in several styles, including Tiny Details, Newborn Portrait, and The Waiting Season.
