We're first-time parents in Mt. Juliet with a newborn daughter, born Aug 30. We're looking for daytime help — 4-hour shifts, 2-3 times a week — starting as soon as possible. What we need is specific: someone to take full responsibility for the baby during the shift. Soothing, burping, diaper changes, bottles, holding her. My wife will be home, but the whole point is that she isn't the one on duty — she'll be sleeping, showering, or at an appointment. We don't need housekeeping or meal prep, just the baby. We find our daughter can be fussy throughout the day and needs constant soothing. Our pediatrician has confirmed she's healthy and this is a normal phase, but it's real and it's exhausting. We need someone who has seen a lot of this, stays calm through it, and will stay with her in another room rather than bringing her back to my wife. That's genuinely the most important qualification for us. Ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of newborn-focused experience and current infant CPR.

First-time mom looking for a warm, holistic, experienced birth doula to support me through pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum. I’m planning an unmedicated home birth and would love someone who is very hands-on with birth preparation, natural comfort/pain-management techniques, positioning, advocacy, breastfeeding support, and postpartum recovery. I’m especially drawn to doulas who offer a well-rounded, nurturing approach and can help me feel informed, confident, and prepared as a first-time mom. I’d love someone who will also work closely with my partner and help us prepare for birth together.
