I want to give birth at home. It’s my first baby so I’m not experienced at all. Our budget is around $2,500 and we have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. I haven’t written out a birth plan yet but I would like to be at home and unmedicated.

I plan on giving birth at home My doctor's office informed me today they can't assist with the birth because of their liability insurance. I've had 3 births and currently pregnant with number 4.

I am giving birth in a hospital, but I would prefer a birthing tub if possible. My birth plan is to have no epidural, be allowed to move around during labor, be able to push in any position that feels best for me, no unnecessary procedures, have a golden hour with my baby, my baby is not to leave the room, and I will breastfeed.

I've never used a doula or midwife before, so I am needing to be educated on how everything works. I also am needing support throughout the pregnancy and afterwards. I am wishing to birth my baby as naturally as possible and if I can not in the way the hospitals have you deliver on your back. I'm hoping that insurance will cover , at least, some of the cost and I'll figure out everything else.

I am seeking a capable, preferably Christian, doula/midwife to help guide me through my first home birth. I have had one hospital birth, which was vaginal and induced at 41 weeks (despite my protest). It took 3 days, as my baby wasn't ready, but was otherwise without complications. I had a failed breastfeeding journey, in no small part because of intervention at the hospital, and exclusively pumped for 12 months. Someone with Lactation experience would be invaluable to my family! I do have PCOS, but it didn't affect my previous pregnancy at all. I'm just looking for someone grounded and gentle, capable, and someone that won't mind our Christian and conservative beliefs. We are very loving and open-minded people and we just want to have a birthday experience completely different from the first one: quiet, calm, and without fear. 1. We plan to have a home birth in our apartment (one story) with concrete floors. 2. We are really hoping to stay within a modest budget of $1200 and we do have insurance. 3. I'd like an uneducated, home birth with only myself and my husband present alongside our doula/midwife. We will be sending our other child to stay with his grandmother and we have no pets. I'd love to explore a water-birth but it isn't a requirement.
