I plan to give birth at home. Would like to not spend more than $5,000. This would be my 4th birth. Two previously at home, one in the hospital.

I am in severe need of a midwife that is willing to accept medicad. I know the law states “Nurse midwife services are a mandatory benefit under Medicaid and are reimbursed by all 50-states and Washington, DC.” I just need someone willing to work with me as I am already on my second trimester. Looking for a midwife for potential home-birth. First time pregnancy, prefer a Christian based midwife and doula. Lots of questions to be asked and we do not know where to start or how it works. We want to walk the line between the medical industrial system, and what is healthy for our baby. We want a delayed vaccine schedule, and as natural a borth as possible. Me and my husband planned on having a home birth with absolute no medications or epidurals. I want a complete natural birth, I would prefer for the midwife to be in the close to our area since we are located in Gastonia.
