Portuguese speaker. I plan to give birth in the hospital.
I am debating between giving birth at home or at a hospital. I hear women of color die more often in Tx hospitals than anywhere else so I’m very hesitant. I don’t want to lie down during labor, I want to squat. I am not sure what my budget is quite yet but I do want someone experienced. This will be my first child, my mother will fly down and stay for two months to help. But once she leaves I may or may not need help with sleep.
I am looking to do a home birth with a midwife experienced in VBAC. I would like no medication and the least amount of medical intervention possible.
I plan to give birth in a hospital because even though I have a vaginal birth with my 1st I had to have a C-Section with my 2nd because of an accident I had in between them, where I had exploratory surgery and uterus reconstruction. At this time, I’m in a different state of mind, I would say a more conscious view of things and while I wish I can give birth at home I know it would be a risk for me. I don’t have a clear budget because this is my first time doing this, but I’m willing to move forward if I find the right person. My birth plan would be delaying the cordt cutting so the baby can receive complete nutrients and cells that need. Also skin to skin touch, in a peaceful environment and supported with the right people beside me that know my story know my case, and that can support me and all ways.
looking to se medicaid or pay at max $3,000 and I want to have the baby at north Houston birth center or memorial hostipal.
someone for support at the hospital, if i were to be in a position where i cannot advocate for myself then the duola can step in, someone to also support the husband in case he has to make difficult decisions on my behalf
Birthing center with a water birth option. I haven’t considered a budget yet would like to know my options there. My birth plan is still pending but would like minimal to no medical intervention
I want to give birth in a birthing center not far away from the medical center if I need to be transported. Preferably would like my insurance Cigna to cover it but up to $10,000 in care is doable out of pocket. I am seeking more education into building a birth plan. English speaking with at least 5 years of experience.
I am looking for a doula and midwife to help me learn and deliver my baby. I need someone who has medical abilities. I’m going to want epidermal so if I can get that at home then I’ll do home birth but if I can’t I’ll do it at the hospital. I’m not sure what my budget would be.
I would like a doula through antipartem and childbirth .
I plan to give birth in a hospital but want to birth at home for as long as possible. I’d like to have a natural unmedicated birth. Our budget is probably around or less than 2k
Planning to birth at memorial hermann. Not sure budget, probably $600 might be my cap Planning for an unmedicated, physiological birth. But want to have some extra support in the hospital setting so that I'm not on my own in advocating for my desires For postpartum, mostly just cleaning, laundry, and cooking help would be welcome. This is my fourth baby, I've had three unmedicated births, one was induced, other two were water births.
Plan to give birth at the hospital, I’m not sure on budget and I’m a first time mom who doesn’t have family near by. I’d love support on how to prepare for vaginal birth in the easiest/smoothest way, how to recover post partum, and newborn tips
High risk. Triplets. Experience with multiples. Located in Texas. Hospital birth at Texas Children’s. Takes Medicade
This is my third child. I want to do this natural and minimal medications. I want to be able to over come the pain and do what was always intended for my body to handle. The epidural has gave me more trauma then actual birth or anything after. I plan to give birth at HCA clear lake or Houston Methodist clear lake. My budget for this is on the lower end, being under $650
1) HCA Health in Webster, TX 2) I’m not very sure on a budget as I haven’t done much research. 3) I want to try to go unmedicated, not lying on my back, I want open mobility, a calm and uplifting environment and I want everything to feel natural.
