I have an OBGYN and will be delivering in a hospital but I want a doula there who could be my voice on the day of delivery. I want an unmedicated birth with minimal check ups, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, and only give vaccinations to my baby that are necessary. I will deliver in a hospital. I have delivered 5 babies vaginally with an induction and epidural. I have not gone into labor naturally. I am concerned that another epidural would present health risks (experiencing possible nerve damage currently). I need someone that can coach me in labor and motivate me prior to labor. I have issues dialating but when dialated labor goes very, very quickly. I am unsure of the average costs of a doula, so do not have a budget yet.
