Looking for a midwife or birthing center that accepts my blue cross blue shield insurance.
I’m planning to give birth at the hospital, I’d love someone with certifications and at least 8 years of experience
Hello I would like to know if you support home births without a midwife.
I’d like to give birth at home same with my husband by my mom is very against it and currently am set to give birth in a hospital I like for help a couple days or weeks before the birth and I can’t afford anything more then like $600 total
I need emotional support and professional advice since my son's father is not going to be the baby's first months
I want support during labor and to be advocated with my birth plans
I’m not 100% sure, this is my first time and my first baby
I’m a first time mom so I’m not too sure what I need specifically but I do plan on giving birth in a hospital and I would just like more support during labor than just my doctors because I know they tend to rush through the birth process
My budget is $3,000.00 total. I reside in Humble TX , I plan to have a water birth. I want a doula with experience. Someone who is patient and on time. Someone who really loves to do this and just isn’t here for the money.
Help Unmedicated birth in hospital Help advocate for me Female dula
I am a first time mom and I plan to give birth at the hospital. I’m not sure about a budget. I haven’t fully constructed my birth plan, but I know for sure I want my birth and delivery as natural, low maintenance, unmedicated vaginal birth. I don’t want the umbilical cord to be cut right away, no episiotomy, I want to my placenta to come out naturally, I don’t want to push on my back, non-medical coping strategies, using my own linens, delayed cord clamping, skin to skin immediately/uninterrupted golden hour with mom first hour then dad, I and/or my husband will be present at all tests (baby will not be out of our sight), lactation consultant asap, breastfeeding immediately, birthing ball, remaining mobile, intermittent monitoring, saline locked, care clustered and DND sign, labor down, dimmed lighting, my own music, delayed bath, have my placenta come out naturally and encapsulated, do not wipe off vernix, I am having a boy so we want him to be circumcised. I would like a very well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced doula not only with birthing but assisting in birthing/delivery with a black woman. I have tricare west insurance.
I plan to give birth in a hospital. this is my third birth but my first unmedicated birth.
Hospital birth, no medication except laughing gas, budget around 1000
i want to give birth at home , an unassisted birth but i do want a doula to help with the baby birth certificate process and to make sure the baby okay
Will be delivering in a hospital setting alone and looking for support during labor and delivery. My hope is to deliver vaginally and unmedicated, but this is a high risk pregnancy.
I'm a first time mom, age 42. I feel that the info my mother share may be outdated and the internet is saturated with contradicting information so I'm overwhelmed. I would prefer to use my insurance if that's possible. I'd like to have a natural birth but I really don't know my options. My husband is more comfortable with spanish so that would good.
I wouldn't mind a hospital birth, but a water birth is my choice. I have insurance with Aetna, so whatever my insurance doesn't cover is my budget...? If you don't work with insurance, ideally I'm not trying to go over 6k. I prefer a holistic and natural approach. I need someone I can contact easily that will respond withing a couple hours and not 24 hours. I prefer a midwife/doula that is a POC, has a background in ancient traditional birthing, and knows herbs better than me. I don't want Westernized typical American care where I'm just another dollar to the facility and not a patient growing a little human. Ideally, my midwife/doula is compassionate, can be funny where space allows, and is very knowledgeable and can handle emergencies if the case cause for it rather than automatically pressing for cesarean.
Birthing center preferred, natural water birth. Very comfortable environment with gospel or calming music. Family friendly. I have blue cross blue shield insurance.
I will deliver in a hospital. I have delivered 5 babies vaginally with an induction and epidural. I have not gone into labor naturally. I am concerned that another epidural would present health risks (experiencing possible nerve damage currently). I need someone that can coach me in labor and motivate me prior to labor. I have issues dialating but when dialated labor goes very, very quickly. I am unsure of the average costs of a doula, so do not have a budget yet. We have excellent conventional insurance, but will be paying all the hospital pricing, so we cannot spend a ton extra on top of that.
I plan on giving birth at The Women's Hospital of Texas, my insurance provider is Tricare West, and my birth plan is simple, I do want to be medicated, I am keeping my placenta, and I am doing delayed cord clamping until baby's cord is white and no longer pulsating.
