I am in a nerve wreck as I am trying for trans vag. I had an horrible experience with my cesarean. Hopefully a doula is what I need when it comes to knowledge and any preparation needed

Trying to get information on birth and postnatal dula

Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. I do have insurance and I’m hoping that can help with the finances.

Giving birth at HCA Clear Lake in Webster, Texas. Budget. Up to $1500. I would like to labor without analgesics and epidural for as long as possible but it's my first birth so I'm open to an epidural. I'd like a former nurse or certified nurse midwife (preferably Hispanic) to help me with switching positions to get baby down in the correct position and keep me moving when nurses can't come in to see me.
