Birth & Postpartum Doula services

I offer birth and postpartum doula support to families in the Wake County and Durham area. Birth support starts at $1,000 and includes up to three prenatal visits, birth planning, evidence-based resources, on-call availability beginning at 38 weeks, continuous support through labor and birth, comfort measures, support for partners and the rest of the birth team, and a postpartum integration visit. I work alongside the family's doctor or midwife, and I support every kind of birth, whether unmedicated, epidural, or cesarean. Every client starts with a free, private consultation. I also offer postpartum care, either hourly ($40/hr for days with a 4-hour minimum, $45/hr overnight with an 8-hour minimum) or in packages ($640 Starter, $1,440 Extended, $2,880 Full). The care includes feeding support without judgment, newborn care, light household help, time for the parent to rest, and a listening ear. Birth and postpartum can be bundled for a $100 savings ($1,540 to $3,780), and returning clients get $100 off a birth package. I offer payment plans and need-based grants, and my current rates reflect where I am in my certification process.
