Hello and welcome! I’m Stariera, a certified full spectrum doula, wellness coach and a master’s level social worker serving people throughout New York City. I enjoy working with people and have developed an understanding of human behavior psychology, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving. My decision to become a doula was born from a desire to support women earlier in the journey — from pregnancy through birth and into postpartum — helping them assess, explore, and process both the joyful and challenging emotions that can arise. I believe that when we recognize and tend to difficult feelings early, we can create space for healing, confidence, and connection in the newborn phase and beyond. Prior to Doula care, I bring 10 years of experience as a Social Worker supporting individuals and families overcome challenges such as health issues, emotional stress, housing instability, family conflict, and behavioral or socio-emotional needs. In addition, I supported mothers navigating postpartum depression and the emotional complexities that can come with new motherhood. Through that work, I developed a deep understanding of how critical emotional support, self-awareness, and self-care are to the postpartum experience — not just for surviving, but for thriving. This background allows me to hold space for clients with empathy, nonjudgmental, and a deep awareness of the complexes life can bring; especially during the perinatal period.

The Luxe Postpartum Experience provides holistic doula care for all birthing experiences—vaginal or cesarean—with support for newborn care, feeding, healing, self-care, and emotional well-being. Recover, nourish and bond with personalized postpartum care designed for mind, body and home. 4 in-home visits (12 hours total) Healing & Recovery Check-Ins: physical, emotional, and environmental. Feeding Guidance: Basic lactation guidance, troubleshooting latch, pumping support, formula support if needed. Emotional Mood Consultations: screening for PMADs (perinatal mood & anxiety disorders), and referrals when needed. Meal Prep & Planning: nutrient-dense postpartum meal plans and in-home cooking sessions (1–2 meals per visit). Infant Care Basics: safe sleep, diapering, soothing techniques, baby-wearing guidance. Partner Integration: support for partner’s adjustment, bonding, and co-parenting tools. Curated postpartum resource list Birth Story Processing: Emotional debriefing for mom and/or partner.
Starting at $75/hourly Compassionate, evidence-based care for your healing, bonding, and adjustment in the early weeks. Birth story debrief and emotional support for the birthing person and partner. Designed for the birthing person and their family to explore and strengthen well‑being across all areas: emotional, mental, social, spiritual, physical, day‑to‑day routines and quality of life. Cover newborn and family integration, balancing new child with existing family/stressors. Use evidence‑based practices, strengths‑based approaches, cognitive‑behavioral strategies to identify positive pathways tailored to you. Give you a safe space to vent, recharge your self‑confidence, build courage, and empower you to advocate for your family. Focus on actionable next steps to support your everyday living, your family flow, and your holistic wellbeing. Manage mood fluctuations and grow to love the new version of you post-baby. * Sessions are offered virtually by video or phone call.
Full spectrum doula care services for early pregnancy, birth, postpartum. Nutritional meals, emotional and physical health support from social worker, wellness coach. The mission is to provide affirming, compassionate, and informed support to birthing people and families throughout the perinatal journey — honoring each client’s voice, vision, and unique path with care that’s rooted in trust, respect, and emotional well-being. All services are available in-person or virtually. I proudly support families residing in Westchester County and New York City areas. Services are by appointments only with $20 travel fee for visit locations greater than 30 minutes from the company location. All services require a deposit to secure spot on my calendar to ensure availability. Payment plans are available. Discounts offered when available.
