Hey I plan to give birth in Sumter Sc at the hospital
Hospital unsure about a budget it’s complicated
I will be giving birth in a hospital. I am planning on a nondedicated birth. No interventions unless necessary and no induction. I haven't yet set a budget as I am not sure of the average cost of this service. If possible I would prefer a payment plan.
Someone to advocate my needs in delivery and be my support person .
McLeod hospital My birth plan is to have a Medicated birth
I’m looking for a doula who will help me during childbirth, help me understand how everything will happen and have a healthy, peaceful and amazing delivery.
I would like to do a home birth using Tricare insurance coverage upfront only. There is a possibility of postpartum/ night nurse assistance at a later time. Not entirely sure of a "plan" beyond that. Unfortunately, I'm not starting my journey where I'm ending, but attempting to get the ball rolling and start gathering some options to set up interviews when we have hard dates. Thank you for you patience in advance.
My top priorities are meal prep, breastfeeding support, and help with gentle postpartum exercises.” • “I would like someone to prepare 1–2 hot meals per day and help with light kitchen cleanup.” • “I need hands-on breastfeeding help (positions, latch) and guidance on pumping.” • “I want guidance for safe postpartum exercises and pelvic-floor recovery — do you have training in this or do you refer a specialist?” • “I need overnight help so I can rest — ideally 6–8 hour night shifts, for [number] nights per week.” • “I need help with newborn care (bathing, diapering, soothing) while I recover.” • “I prefer Spanish-speaking support — do you speak Spanish or have a Spanish-speaking team member?” • “I had a C-section / my baby was premature / I have [condition] — can you support that?” • “What are your rates for daytime visits and overnight shifts? Do you offer package discounts?” • “Can you provide references and do you have CPR/First Aid certification?”
Budget is not a concern. No specific certification required; experience preferred.
I’m open to home or hospital birth. My goal is unmedicated. Unsure if budget, but open to discussion. Low intervention No induction Labor at home as much as possible (if hospital is necessary) Birthing pool Low lights Dedicated playlist Minimal foot traffic Possible laughing gas Use of tens machine As active as possible Avoid episiotomy as much as possible Delayed cord cutting
I want to have a home birth due me having anxiety about hospitals. I want someone who’s open to answer any questions because i know ill have a few as time goes on.
Looking for a doula that accepts Medicaid. And assists with postpartum care.
Hospital, I have tricare so fully covered underneath insurance, staying alive & having a smooth birth
1. Im not sure yet I just know I want an unmediated water birth - my husband is an ER doc 2. For each service for all together? I’m looking for a doula to support me with delivery and open to having one travel to us because I don’t have a ton of options near me. 3-5k Postpartum and newborn specialist I don’t have any idea what the price range is for this but we definitely want someone to stay with us postpartum and support us with our first baby 3. Unmedicated water birth if in hospital then I want a relaxing environment
Certified doula with 3 plus years of experience, speaking English I’m due on 4/3 and I have a 2 year old toddler Light cleaning and cooking 15-20$ per hour
I'm exploring my birth options, leaning towards a home birth but also considering the hospital for safety and cost-effectiveness. My budget is a concern, and I'm relying on my insurance to help. More than anything, I want a healthy baby and to save for their future. I'm also focused on preparing my home, especially with my two small dogs, to ensure it's a safe and welcoming environment for the baby.
Hospital Birth Whatever Medicaid Covers that is Medically Necessary No Pitocin No Meds PERIOD Certification (CPR, and the credentials needed to practice midwifery and same for doula )
