Hospital unsure about a budget it’s complicated

I will be giving birth in a hospital. I am planning on a nondedicated birth. No interventions unless necessary and no induction. I haven't yet set a budget as I am not sure of the average cost of this service. If possible I would prefer a payment plan.

I would like to do a home birth using Tricare insurance coverage upfront only. There is a possibility of postpartum/ night nurse assistance at a later time. Not entirely sure of a "plan" beyond that. Unfortunately, I'm not starting my journey where I'm ending, but attempting to get the ball rolling and start gathering some options to set up interviews when we have hard dates. I'm exploring my birth options, leaning towards a home birth but also considering the hospital for safety and cost-effectiveness. My budget is a concern, and I'm relying on my insurance to help.
