About me

Hello! My name is Sydni and I am DNT certified postpartum doula, DONA trained birth doula and experienced overnight newborn caregiver with 8+ years working with postpartum mothers, and over 11 years working with children of all ages. I was recently accepted to Columbia University and Seattle University to pursue an MSN-DNP in Midwifery. I'm also very passionate about indigenous midwifery and traveling to international communities that blend modern medicine and traditional practices. The invaluable knowledge I've gained abroad directly influences the way I serve local families as a doula. I enjoy adapting to the needs of a variety of families, and learning from the varied experiences and stories that mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers alike have shared throughout my career as a doula. I am located in the Hudson Valley, and spend my free-time hiking in the Catskills and hanging out with my cats.
