I’m planning on giving birth at home. I need a birth and postpartum doula. How I envision it is she will help me with the birth and take care of me- cook meals, clean kitchen, take care of baby for the next month after I give birth. My budget is $5000 for this entire service
Hi! I wanted to share what is important to me as I prepare for the birth of my baby. As a Somali mom, I would love to have someone who understands and respects my culture, values, and preferences. I need emotional support, guidance throughout pregnancy, help preparing for labor and delivery, and someone who can advocate for my wishes and help me feel safe, calm, and comfortable. I would also appreciate postpartum support as I recover and adjust to life with my baby. Most importantly, I want to feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. I’m looking forward to working with you and having you by my side during this special journey.
I need a midwife to manage my pregnancy, I will give birth in a hospital, I don't know which one yet, I also have insurance.
I'm actually just looking for a midwife nurse to go to for a pap smear/annual appointment. I don't feel comfortable going to a traditional OB-GYN. I want to find someone who takes my insurance.
I plan to give birth at a hospital (at Multicare Capital Medical Center). My insurance covers $2000 for a doula. I do not know my birth plan yet.
Our baby due in January 2027, I want to give birth at home or midwife center. I will want to be able to use my insurance and I am ok with extra fee I just want transparency in the cost
I plan to give birth in a hospital, I previously had one baby via C-section, and I would like to do that again. But I am in need for monitoring prenatal care until the baby arrives.
I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and am looking for a midwife for the remainder of my pregnancy and delivery. I plan to give birth at a hospital and would like someone who is supportive, patient, and attentive to my preferences. I’m interested in discussing pain-management options, labor positions, delayed cord clamping, skin-to-skin after delivery, and breastfeeding support. I have TRICARE Prime and would like to know whether you accept my insurance and what my estimated out-of-pocket costs would be.
Evergreens Kirkland, normal delivery hopefully uneducated if pain is tolerable. Retroverted uterus and first pregnancy
I plan to give birth in my home, and have a water tub available. I do not have a budget. I want my birth to be in my living room, with a warm tub of water available. I want to be able to go into any position I feel is needed. I would like delayed cord clamping, and no vaccines or shots of any sorts after baby is born, and to keep the vernix caseosa on after birth for at least 24 hours. I would like my husband to be there, and possibly my mother, along with a midwife and a doula. I would like some music, and support from everyone in the room. if a medical emergency were to happen, there is a fire station across the street, and hospital is 10-15 minutes away. This is my first pregnancy, and I would love a happy and safe home birth. I am still actively researching.
