With a background in physical therapy, I have a deep passion for pelvic health and reproductive wellness. As a doula, I strive to provide evidence-based education, compassionate and holistic care, and strong advocacy so that families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their birth journey. I hope to further specialize in lactation, exercise therapy, and water birth, and I am committed to continual growth and lifelong learning in my doula practice. I also love research and aspire to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of women's health in the years ahead. Outside of my work, I enjoy hiking with my preschooler, reading, writing about birth experiences in the East, and deepening my spiritual practice as a Muslim.

Hi, I’m Mehri. I’m a mom of two girls, and I truly believe there is nothing more important than helping a mother feel safe, supported, and never alone. I went through this-when you dont have any support, no one can understand you, even sometimes your friends or your family members. During my pregnant period I almost lost 2 my best friends because of I was expecting from them support that I never received, not because of they dont care, they just dont know how to deal with that. Life once surprised me with an unexpected home birth before the ambulance arrived. In that moment, I learned that staying calm, taking a deep breath, and having someone beside you can change everything. Since then, I’ve carried that feeling with me. I love listening, encouraging, making tea, holding a baby so a mom can rest, or simply sitting quietly when that’s what’s needed. Families often tell me that they feel calm around me, and that’s the greatest compliment I could ever receive.

I am a 20 year old who is currently still working on her doula certification while doing school, I am also getting training on breastfeeding counseling, childbirth education, perinatal nutrition, and pregnancy yoga! I've always had a huge interest in women's health (specifically our mental health as well as birth and postpartum) and get along great with babies and children in general so moms who are also interested in involving their kids with their birth definitely have a welcoming space here!
