I am 100% unprepared and over whelmed. I don’t really have a birth plan yet but have a rough idea. We will be in a hospital and I don’t have any idea what this will cost. I need a midwife that is CNM certified so that Tricare will cover it. Unfortunately we cannot afford a midwife on our own and need to walk through what our insurance will cover. We don't know our situation yet as far as a home birth or needing a midwife to meet us at a nearby hospital when the time comes so we would love someone able to do either one. One big factor in desiring a midwife is to have the personal care and time of the same provider at each baby appointment and to be able to reach out to that midwife at anytime if I have questions or concerns along the way in pregnancy.
