Hi I’m reaching out because my over the phone OB said you are a doula that my Medicade will sponsor? I’m just trying to see if this is accurate. I’m wanting emotional and physical support before, during and after baby is born. This is my first child and would like another advocate that will help me through the process and will stand on business with these nurses. I know exactly what I want for this birth, and I don’t need them to tell me no :)

I just want someone to be an advocate for me so they won’t cut the cord to quick and so they won’t force their “hospital policy” on me . Baptist Ochsner is where I plan on going to give birth. This will be my third pregnancy, first time seeking a doula. Trying to find support through labor.
