About me
Greetings, I’m passionate about supporting families as a doula. I’m a proud mom to one lovely little girl who inspires me every day. My journey into birth work began with a deep desire to help others feel seen, heard, and empowered during life’s most intimate moments. I graduated from Virginia State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, but I found my true calling in the world of birth and postpartum care. Those who know me would describe me as genuine, warm, and incredibly attentive to the needs of others. I believe in holding space with compassion and providing thoughtful, personalized care to each family I serve. Being a doula allows me to combine my nurturing spirit with my commitment to making a positive impact in people’s lives.

I provide services on a sliding scale, if insurance is not an option.I provide pregnancy and labor support, which includes informational prenatal appointments and pain management assistance during labor.

Unique was my doula, and my experience was amazing. Prior to my labor and delivery, she would check in with me multiple times throughout the week. Unique reminded me to stay hydrated, she attended doctor’s appointments, we went on walks and we talked about what to expect when it was time for birth. During my time at the hospital, Unique was very attentive and made sure I was well taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula. Her attentiveness, knowledge and care were perfect for my situation. I highly recommend Unique!
