Will give birth at INOVA Alexandria hospital. This is our second child, the first was an unscheduled C-section after a failed induction. Aiming for a TOLAC in the hopes of achieving a vaginal birth, although I will have a C-section scheduled for week 41 in case I don't go into labor naturally. My C-section recovery was technical smooth with no complications last time, but I did not feel like I received enough information or support immediately following birth about how to manage my recovery and ultimately was unprepared and struggled at home the first few weeks. I am seeking immediate postpartum support regardless of how birth goes to smooth out the adjustment period when I leave the hospital, at least for a few weeks.

We’re looking for birth and possibly postpartum support for a hospital birth for our first child. Ideally, we are looking to utilize our insurance to assist with cost coverage. My birth plan is not yet fixed, but hoping to lean more on the natural side of things. We are especially interested in doulas who have a Christian faith background.

I plan to give birth at Holy Cross Hospital Silver Spring. I have coverage with my insurance. I plan on doing a natural delivery, and want to labor at home the most that i can before going to the hospital. I want an African American women to be my doula, I would like a natural birth no medication, delayed cord clamping, breathing exercises, I don’t want to give birth on my back, immediate skin to skin, education on what is okay for the baby not to have for example vaccinations,. I plan on giving birth a Penn State Hershey Hospital. My mother and partner will be in there with me. We are Muslim so after baby is born father needs to do a religious prayer in babies right ear, so therefore when baby is born we need that time for him to do so like three minutes.
