I had a c section with my first due to “ failure to progress “ and I would like to avoid that the second go around with a vbac. I was wondering if you are currently accepting new patients and do you take insurance?

I need a doula who has expertise in working with first time moms with body dysmorphia and antenatal depression. I am already working with a therapist and psychiatrist but I’d benefit from the support of a doula as well. I plan to give birth in the hospital. My birth plan (so far) includes getting an epidural. I have a twin pregnancy and have experienced some preterm labor. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and viability here is 24 weeks. I have had a cerclage and since then I have been in constant pain. I need someone to help me and advocate for me during this pregnancy.

We have been receiving prenatal care from an OB-GYN up to this point while we search for the right midwife or doula, and we are looking to transition our care to someone who aligns more closely with our holistic approach. We are especially looking for someone who is calm, intuitive, and respectful of our preferences, and who can help create a peaceful, grounded environment during labor. Guidance with labor positioning, pain management, and emotional reassurance is very important to us. We would also appreciate support for my partner so they can confidently assist me throughout labor. Our goal is to create a birth experience that feels safe, supported, and aligned with our values, while still being adaptable if circumstances change. We are open to discussing budget and services based on the level of support provided.

1. Plan to give birth with midwives in Stafford Hospital 2. I have tricare select. Hoping that it’ll be covered through tricare but willing to pay more if needed. 3. I want an unmedicated natural birth with as minimal interventions as possible. I want to focus on movement throughout labor and mindset, breathing.
