I'd like to find someone to help coach me and my husband for labor and help advocate for me in the hospital setting, for example making sure I can deliver my placenta naturally and wait for the umbilical cord to turn white before cutting. Hello I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant looking for a doula near me, accepting insurance (Medicaid).

I’m not sure of these questions yet. I am still searching for a hospital. First time mom so Im not sure of budgets.

I am 26 years old and this is my first child so I would like someone to just give me advice and basically be there for me through this journey. I would like to give birth at a birthing center close to a hospital if I need to go to it, but I am not opposed to going to the hospital I just don't want to have the baby on my back. My budget is under $2,000 preferably. I also would like to try and breast feed to know what drinks or food I can intake now to help with that. I am also a picky eater so helping me come up with a balanced diet would also be a great help as well. I just would like to prep on what I should be doing each month and things I need to order so that I can already have it before the baby comes.

I am looking for a doula to have guidance on having a mother vaginal birth following a cesarean birth from my last pregnancy. I want to avoid that happening again and especially avoid that healing process I had to go through with my little boy.

I plan to give birth at Howard County General Hospital that is connected with Johns Hopkins. My OB is through Capital Women's Care in Fulton/Maple Lawn, and the OBs rotate there. I had a c-section December 2022, and I believe I was pressured into this when it was unnecessary based on speaking with doctors, friends, and family since. I want a VBAC. I do not have a large budget. I'm trying to figure out how my doulas cost. My family is willing to help a little thankfully. I'm guestimating my budget is $2k. I want someone that will advocate for me, encourage me, and help me to have a VBAC, as last time I was continually pressured to have, and my husband could not advocate for me to keep going and trying. I felt guilty about his anxieties for me, which led me to take an unnecessary and harder process of the c-section, and ended up being much scarier for both of us.

It is my first child and we would like to do a hospital birth that have the assistance and guidance/support from a doula. Hoping to have a doula to advocate for me to give me the highest chances of having a natural birth without c section.

Seeking a doula to help prepare better for my third baby due in February. I’ve had two vaginal hospital deliveries but was induced with my first and I ended up with an epidural with my second because I wasn’t prepared for a long labor and ended up with bad baby positioning and pelvic girdle pain.

I plan on giving birth in a hospital. My budget is around $1500. My ideal birth plan, I want my husband in the room. I want to be able to walk around or be on a birthing ball. I want to try to have a natural birth but if I get to be in too much pain I want an epidural. This will be my second birth. I’m not opposed to an epidural.
