Becoming a mother is one of life's most beautiful experiences — but also one of the most physically and emotionally demanding. Every mother deserves knowledgeable support, nourishing care, and time to heal. Hello! I'm Xuanqin Garrett, a certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula (ProDoula, Cert. #PICD025127) serving the Metro Atlanta area. I have supported 8 families through the precious first weeks with their newborns, and I'd love to support yours. My Specialties Traditional Chinese Postpartum Meals — one of my greatest passions. I prepare authentic Chinese month-confinement meals: tonic chicken soup, traditional herbal teas (including Shenghua Tang to support postpartum recovery), and warm recovery dishes. I don't follow standard recipes — I customize every meal plan to each family's tastes, dietary needs, and cultural or faith traditions. Breastfeeding Support — the early weeks are often the hardest. Within my professional scope as a postpartum doula, I provide education, encouragement, comfort measures, and practical support, including gentle breast massage for fullness and engorgement. For medical concerns, I always refer to the mother's OB provider or an IBCLC. Gentle Recovery Care — relaxation massage for new moms (including cupping and moxibustion when appropriate), newborn care guidance, and light housework so you can rest and bond with your baby. My Schedule — daytime support (typically 6 hours/day in the first week, then 4–6 hours/day adjusted to your needs) and overnight care up to 2 nights per week. I hold a current AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (adult/child/infant), and I speak Mandarin Chinese and English. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you as you welcome your newest family member.

In-home daytime postpartum support: newborn care guidance, breastfeeding and lactation support, nourishing recovery meals tailored to your family's tastes and traditions, gentle relaxation massage for mom, and light housework. Serving families within ~10 miles of Roswell, GA. Typical schedule: 6 hours/day in the first week; 4–6 hours/day from the second week, adjusted to your needs.
