I plan on birthing in San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland CA. I would like to have as least medical interventions as possible however while still in a hospital setting in case it is medically necessary to intervene. I would like to have a doula for supporting my husband and I in preparation for this to be possible as well as postpartum support to help me get settled in as a new mother healing from birthing. I don’t have a set budget as I am unaware of the costs that go into this. But we are willing to work towards meeting our needs. I would like to be informed of all my childbirth options, like how much is covered through my insurance, maternity leave and childcare for when I return to work. I am covered through Blue Shield Trio HMO and have a medical group called Optum Network Inland Valley.

This is my final baby, number 6, & I have always wanted to have a Doula but never actually did it. Im looking for support at delivery and postpartum. I plan to have an unmedicated birth and want to try hypno birthing method or any type of breathing techniques that will help with labor. I want to experience a peaceful and centered birth as much as possible. My last 2 deliveries have been unmedicated and quick. I would love to have a Doula with years of experience, who is bilingual in Spanish and is funny, sarcastic and upbeat but professional and calm when necessary.
