I’m Afrika, a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist with over 17 years of experience supporting more than 100 families through pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that follow. I don’t just care for babies. I care for the people who just became parents. Whether you need overnight newborn care so you can finally sleep, daytime support while you recover, help establishing feeding routines, emotional encouragement, or simply another capable adult in your home, I meet you exactly where you are. The Village Night Package provides experienced overnight newborn care so parents can rest and recover while knowing their baby is receiving attentive and nurturing care. Designed for families seeking professional birth support later in pregnancy, The Village Essentials Birth Package provides experienced labor support and nurturing postpartum care without the commitment of a full-service birth package. Package Includes: ✨ Complimentary Consultation 🤎 Continuous Labor & Birth Support • On-call support beginning at contract signing • Continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout labor and birth • Partner support and comfort measures • Immediate postpartum support following delivery ☀️ Two Postpartum Visits • First Visit: Within the first 24-72 hours after birth to provide emotional support, answer questions, assess recovery, and assist with newborn feeding and adjustment. • Second Visit: Approximately 1-2 weeks postpartum to provide newborn education, recovery support, and referrals to additional resources as needed.
