About me

Hi, My name is Alexis DeWindt, also known as TheButterflyDoula, I'm a full spectrum doula also an educator who is passionate about protecting, nurturing, and advocating for BIPOC women during the vulnerable state of giving birth. After experiencing the loss of my mother, I realized the preciousness of life and aim to create an environment of ease and confidence for mothers during labor and delivery. I also prepare my clients for the postpartum phase and help to navigate the medical industry to ensure their needs are heard and met. My goal is to emphasize the sacredness of parenthood for all types of families and educate the ВІРОС community on their birth rights, promoting respect, honesty, and freedom for all.
