I will be having a hospital birth, but I want to be able to have an unmedicated birth in whatever position feels right and be able to do that with the support of someone who can advocate for me when I cannot. Along with not just delayed cord clamping I want to wait until the cord is white and no longer pulsing. Having someone there to help me remain comfortable and confident in myself and my decisions. I would also like to gain the knowledge on what to do before, during, and after labor. This is my first pregnancy at 34 year old and im a bit nervous. My budget is around $1,000-1,500.

I plan to give birth at advent health Orlando, I’m planning on having a vbac. Looking for someone who has worked on many vbac births and has knowledge about vbacs. I am a first time mother who wants to learn how to recover from birth while providing the best care for my baby. I’m easily overwhelmed and will need some help in postpartum. My mother will be present to help also. I’m interested in someone who is educated in traditional medicine with 5+ years of experience. Cooking and cleaning is a plus. Nighttime care would be great. I’m looking to spend no more than $1500/mo for 2 days per week of doula help.

I am looking for someone to help advocate for me since I have already experienced a lapse in care due to my size and continue to feel like providers don't want to help me because I am fat. At this time, I am only high risk for my weight but so far all my tests have been normal and nothing is wrong. Throughout my pregnancy I have already had to transfer care two times and at my recent 30 week check up a new midwife took one look at me and decided I needed to transfer. It has caused a lot of trauma, stress and anxiety. I just want to feel like my health and m baby's health are important and just because I am fat I am still deserving of proper care and support.
