Hi expecting parents! My name is Amanda and I'm a CPR certified Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator Counselor and New Parent Educator experienced with preemies, twins and triplets. I started providing postpartum support in Feb 2017 but have been an infant nanny since 2005 and a mom of 2 since 2008 :) I provide non judgmental support, evidence based education, and guidance through the 4th trimester all while helping parents get some much needed rest ✨️ My goal is to help parents feel comfortable and confident in their parenting abilities! Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Overnight Postpartum/Newborn Care

I provide overnight care which includes newborn care/education, postpartum care, lactation/feeding consulting/education, snacks + teas. I offer text/mobile support during the day/my nights off and a personalized routine that promotes optimal infant sleep. I'm happy to discuss schedule/hours. Rates start at $500/nt depending on how many nights booked, how many babies, any extra duties required, etc

Daytime Postpartum Support

My time with you during the day will include a lot of hands on support and education! This is perfect for 1st time parents that want to learn all the tricks and techniques to make your 4th trimester easier. I can cook healthy nutritious meals, teas and snacks, help you meet your breastfeeding goals, teach you how to formula prep, help you bathe your baby for the first time, teach you soothing techniques, light housekeeping, running errands for you if needed, and hold your baby while you nap 💖 I will also help you implement an age appropriate daytime routine that encourages better sleep at night! I provide support 3-5days per week. Rate starts at $55/hr and depends on how many days are booked, how many babies, any extra duties required, etc

What to expect

I'm a CPR certified Newborn Care Specialist, New Parent Educator, Lactation Educator Counselor, Postpartum Doula and former nanny with 20yrs of experience working with families in Los Angeles. My approach is very gentle and educational. I don't just come in and take over (unless that's what you need!) I love to include the parents I work with in everything I do so they feel comfortable and confident during the times I'm not there. My goal is to educate, guide and support parents through the 4th trimester while helping them get some much needed rest!
