About me

My name is Grace Kovitch and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula, as well as craniosacral therapy practitioner located in Barto, Pennsylvania. When I started off as a birth doula, I quickly saw the drop off in care that happened with postpartum mothers, and have dedicated my career to making sure every new mom is educated, supported, and cared for. Postpartum support is truly where my heart is, and I love seeing the moment where a new mom starts to feel confident in her new role. When I'm not supporting families, you can find me hiking, backpacking, or spending time with my loved ones.

As a postpartum doula and craniosacral therapy practitioner, I provide nurturing, hands-on support for both parents and babies during the vulnerable weeks and months after birth. My craniosacral therapy work offers gentle, non-invasive touch that supports babies with feeding challenges, tension, or discomfort. These services create a holistic approach to postpartum care, tending to the needs of both the parent and the child so the whole family can thrive.

I am delighted to recommend Grace Kovitch as a postpartum doula. Her sweet nature, care and compassion, and knowledge of newborns made her truly invaluable to our family throughout our daughter’s first four months. Her presence allowed our family to rest, recover, and truly enjoy the precious moments with our newborn. From the moment she stepped into our home, Grace provided a calming presence and a great knowledge about newborn care. She not only assisted with practical needs—such as soothing techniques, infant care, and light household tasks—but also provided the emotional support and reassurance that every new parent needs. Her warm and nurturing nature made all the difference during such a transformative time. (We knew she was the perfect fit for our family when our doberman wouldn’t leave her side! He now waits for her every night!) Additionally, her punctuality and reliability show the level of care she possesses for her clients. I wholeheartedly recommend Grace to any family in need of postpartum support. She is an incredible resource, and any family would be beyond lucky to have her by their side during the postpartum journey.

I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Grace as a doula. Grace has been caring for our son, Cooper, since he was about 2 months old, and he is now over 5 months old. From the moment she began working with us, we could see that she has a genuine love for children and an intuitive understanding of their needs. Grace has always been incredibly sweet and kind with Cooper, and it is clear that he enjoys her company. We can tell that he feels safe and comfortable with her. We are particularly impressed with how she follows our routines and schedules, which has been so helpful in maintaining consistency for Cooper. In addition to her care for Cooper, Grace is also very respectful of our home. She always leaves our house neat and tidy, which is something we greatly appreciate. Welcoming someone into your home to care for your child can be daunting, but both my husband and I have always felt completely at ease with Grace. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail have made her an indispensable part of our family’s routine. We have no reservations in recommending Grace to anyone seeking a compassionate and dependable doula. She has truly been a blessing to our family, and we are confident she will provide the same excellent care to others.

When I found out my daughter was pregnant, I was worried for her pregnancy and birth, but having Grace work with my daughter eased all of my worries. Her attentiveness and compassion were beyond compare. She answered all of mine and my daughter’s questions without judgement and complete understanding. She was available 24/7, so whenever my daughter had a question or got nervous about something she always had Grace and her help and reassurance. She was an incredible advocate, and spoke up to the doctors and nurses to ensure the birth plan was being followed. She remained calm, compassionate, and caring the entire time. I would absolutely recommend Grace to everyone I know. We will be using her for all future pregnancies in our family!!

I was 19 years old when I found out I was pregnant. I was so scared and confused, I had no idea what to do or where to even start. I’m not sure if it was luck, fate, or God’s timing, but as soon as I realized hiring a doula was the best decision for me Grace had open availability. A few months before my baby was born, Grace came over to sit with me and my family and we created a birth plan that worked best for my wants and needs. She gave me all the information and what to expect in any situation. She cleared up any confusion I had on the well known aspects of birth. She was my voice when labor pains took over and I could no longer vouch for myself. She helped me physically with natural remedies we had discussed prior, through every step of labor! She helped keep me calm and level headed which resulted in a birth that went so much easier and smoother than I had ever imagined. Throughout my entire pregnancy Grace was willing to answer any questions with no judgement, regardless of how ridiculous. Whether with her own knowledge or with the connections and tools she has, she never let my questions go unanswered. I am so grateful there was someone so knowledgeable and kindhearted as Grace to help me bring my baby boy into this world. Having her there was the smartest decision, not just for me but for my baby too. It really does take a village, and if you want my opinion your village won’t be complete without Grace! I will confidently be directing any soon-to-be mommies Grace’s way!

My experience with Grace was fantastic. After I gave birth, Grace was there as a support system, always anticipating my needs. She made me meals, helped with housework, held my new daughter while I took a shower, and assisted my husband with things as needed. She also helped me with watching my daughter when I returned to working from home. She cared for her so well by taking her for walks in a baby carrier or stroller when I needed some quiet time to work, assisted with feeding pumped breast milk when I had a busy work day, and even did the dishes and cleaned the house without me ever asking or expecting it. She always had a positive, upbeat attitude and my daughter absolutely loves her to this day (my daughter is now almost 1 and gets excited every time she sees Grace). I can’t say enough about her and I am so grateful for her services. If you are ever in need of an amazing doula at any stage of pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, Grace is the person you need. She wasn’t my birth doula for my last birth but if we get pregnant again we will definitely use her birth doula services also.
