Arielle Eugene, a passionate, certified full spectrum doula, located in Louisville, KY, envisioned Ancient Roots as a sanctuary for families seeking a holistic approach to health and healing. Drawing inspiration from ancestral practices, Arielle recognized the profound impact that traditional wisdom can have on the well-being of both parents and children. With a deep commitment to fostering a nurturing environment, Arielle set out to create a space where families could reconnect with age-old practices that have stood the test of time. Arielle is a wife and mother of 6. Arielle and her family practice martial arts and love to travel and learn by way of homeschooling. Camping and the beach is her favorite pastime. She is also educated as a medical assistant, AA in Human Services, and BA in Theology.

Birth and Postpartum Support: As experienced doulas, we offer compassionate and knowledgeable support during the birthing process, guiding you through this transformative experience with care and respect for your individual preferences. Our holistic approach extends to various facets of family life, encompassing rituals, mindfulness practices, and other ancestral techniques that contribute to the overall well-being of your family.

Full Ancestor Package

Three Prenatal visits: Visit one will be childbirth education, birth planning, etc... Visit two is preparing you for birth with affirmations, meditation, birth readiness. Visit three is nesting. I will assist with getting the home ready for the baby. Blessing way, Libations, meditation, prenatal reiki, etc... (crystals and essential oils upon request) Mental, emotional, physical, or spiritual support. (No matter the religion or spiritual level) Judgement-Free zone Access to available birthing equipment: 1 birth ball, 1 peanut ball, and TENZ unit Open book access: Any resources needed (help finding a midwife, pediatrician or hospital.) I am here for any educational questions you may have. If I don't know it I can find out! The only bad questions are the ones you don't ask! Three Postpartum visits: To help you and baby get settled. Whatever you may need to start your new journey into motherhood. (See services list)

Virtual Doula Support

Two Prenatals: childbirth education, birth planning, etc... Visit two is preparing you for birth with affirmations, meditation, birth readiness, etc... Education and emotional Support via, telecommunication (text, phone call, video chat, etc) throughout pregnancy On-call support starts two weeks prior to the estimated due date (EDD). Call, text, or video me whenever you need. Two Postpartum Visits (2-3 hours each visit)

Postpartum Care

Four hour minimum. Education on postpartum concerns Emotional support for mom, Spiritual Guidance Guidance on newborn care, bathing, and feeding Sibling care (including assisting with adjusting to new baby) Sibling Doula Lactation education, support and assistance Postpartum care of mom (preparing herbal baths, foot soaks, yoni steams, etc.) Healthy meal planning and preparation (if a nutrition package is selected) Light housekeeping (light laundry, dishes, picking up toys, etc.) Belly binding, Baby wearing Light errands, Light meal and snack prep, Self care time Overnight care as needed to ensure mom is getting ample rest Mediation sessions, Placenta Printing and encapsulation

Can the packages be changed or substituted?

I am open to changing some things around to accommodate your needs.

What kind of payments do you take?

I accept cash, checks, money order, Zelle, Cash App, doula assistance programs, and FSA/HSA** **FSA/HSA may require you to provide and doctors note stating a medical need for doula services

Do you accept payments or have a payment plan?

Yes I do. We can discuss the details, but all payments need to be paid by 38 weeks, or before services are rendered.
