I’m 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby and haven’t even given birth yet, but I already feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth with Audra!
I originally wondered if I needed a doula since I have an amazing, supportive husband and family. But I realized having someone who regularly sees birth and is there specifically for me would take the pressure off my husband to have it all figured out. I want my birth to be a great experience for me, my daughter, and husband so I felt like I needed a professional doula to join us and be on my "team."
I contacted 4 doulas total and I’m glad I trusted my gut and hired Audra. We’ve had 2 prenatal visits so far, and despite all the birth prep I’ve already done, she still teaches me things I didn’t know or wouldn’t have thought to ask.
She’s also helped prepare my husband, knows the hospital where I’m specifically delivering (so she gives great info on the hospital and staff), and has made me feel so much more confident. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders with her.
Also, her pricing is very reasonable and you can tell she's passionate about her work. I’ll definitely update this review after my baby girl gets here. Bottom line is if you're considering hiring Audra, do it! I will be using her for my next birth too.

Audra is wonderful! She was always very thorough and well-studied for each of our prenatal/postpartum appointments and patiently answered all of my questions. Any time I asked a question she didn’t know the answer to, she went above and beyond to find that answer for me. I felt she genuinely cared about me and my childbirth experience. She set up a calming atmosphere in the hospital room, held my hands, and talked me through labor and pushing. Afterward, she continued to follow up with me to ask how I was adjusting to breastfeeding and postpartum. I cannot recommend her enough! If my husband and I decide to have another child, we will definitely ask her to be my birth doula again!

Audra takes great care of her clients. She has studied the birth process to the point you can ask her about anything and she will have the stats and the pros and cons of any intervention. She was advocate, adviser, and a friend when I needed her. I will never birth without a doula again.
