We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). We are looking for a russian speaking doula who will be able to help during birth and also provide guidance in postpartum journey (newborn care, pp recovery). Cleaning / cooking / laundry is unnecessary and is not a primary reason for our search but could definitely be beneficial!

Hi! I’m a 21-year-old married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and going through a separation from my husband. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me.
