About four days after giving birth and breastfeeding, my nipples were in so much pain and breastfeeding was super painful. This only lasted a couple days though and was really good for a while. Then earlier this week I got a blister on my nipple and things have been painful again. I’m not sure what happened. I think my breasts may be getting too engorged and she’s having trouble getting a deep latch sometimes now. She’s three weeks old. Would love to have a home visit soon. I have United healthcare community plan and am having trouble finding anyone that takes it.

Must have at least one of the following: - Medicaid approval to provide doula services in their state - An active doula certification from an eligible certifying organization - A certificate of completion from an eligible doula training program and three years of experience They must also have all three of the following: - An active certificate in adult and infant CPR from an eligible certifying organization - At least $1 million in liability insurance from a reputable insurer - Client and professional references

Having my first birth this november at New York Presbyterian lower manhattan. Looking for a Doula who has a calm and supportive energy with 3+ years practicing. Hi there! Need support with a few things Baby was in NICU for a few days out of precaution and we left with her combo feeding - breast and formula. I wanted to get her off formula so I started pumping twice a day, and now we’re doing occasional top offs with breast milk in a bottle after I breast feed her. Would love guidance to know if she’s getting enough milk from my breasts and if the top offs are still necessary. My breasts still feel full after but she falls asleep as hard as I try to wake her up. She’s doing 15 min and 10/15 min. Guidance on when to pump. Right now doing one AM and one PM because my breasts hurt and feel like I need to empty them. wondering if I’m doing this “right” How long to pump for so that I DON’T trigger my body to make extra milk Will be going back to work in December. Would love a plan. Just overall guidance :)

Looking for a child birth, breast feeding, and postpartum doula.

My three-week-old will latch for a few seconds and then pull off and start crying. He was latching in the hospital but we needed to supplement with formula due to hypoglycemia and jaundice, and we are now primarily pumping/bottle feeding but would like to reintroduce breastfeeding as well.

I think my breastfeeding journey is going quite well, I just want to do a weighted feed or 2 to know how much to offer in a bottle if need be or just to know if he’s getting proper amount

11 week old suddenly fussy and crying at breast after no breastfeeding problems at all. Side lying nursing at night fine—seems to be specific to nursing while I’m sitting up. Takes bottle fine 1x per day. Have BCBS anthem. Would prefer in person but virtual is fine to start, just need to be seen asap

Twin baby girls two and a half weeks old. One with weak latch and both hungry after latching

My one week old is feeding on breast for up to an hour (sometimes more) and when she falls asleep and I put her down, she cries for more. I’ve pumped and bottle fed as well, she takes the bottle for around 30-45 minutes and does the same process. The only time she feeds well and sleeps for a 2+ hours is when we have to supplement with formula. I’ve had virtual consultations but I really think I’d benefit most to an in-person visit.
